Chapter 10 - Iwaizumi and Oikawa

Iwaizumi went to collect the picnic basket from the kitchen whilst Oikawa changed for the third time in the last hour. As he turned to walk back outside to wait for Oikawa his path was blocked by three boys, all with their arms folded and glaring at him.

"What, he asked, I haven't done anything". He wondered why these 3 pretty boys, Atsumu, Suga and Akaashi were looking at him like he had murdered someone.

Suga sighed, "look, Iwaizumi. We all love Kawa, he's had a really shitty time lately. He's dealt with bullying, eating disorders and a stalker all in the last 12 months. He needs to be cared for and not strung along so don't lead him on because he likes you". The spikey haired boy replied earnestly, "I don't intend to lead him on, I chose him and I can tell that he is special and I can promise that I will treat him with respect". Akaashi smiled and said, "that's all we can ask for and by the way, he chose you too". Iwaizumi left with a dazzling smile.

Oikawa was waiting outside and his eyes sparkled when he saw Iwaizumi walking out of the house. "Iwa-chan I'm so excited let's go and find somewhere to have our picnic." Iwa looked at him with an amused expression, "Iwa-chan, really? Kawa replied, "yes, it's my pet name for you don't you like it? I think its cute".
Iwa smiled, " it's OK you can call me that if you want but I get to give you a pet name too". "What do you want to call me Iwa-chan, Kawa smirked at him.

IWA - What about Pretty Kawa

KAWA - No, I'm not pretty

IWA - You're very pretty, but I can think of something else. What about Angel Kawa

KAWA - Oh, I'm no angel Iwa-chan. You'll find out sooner or later

IWA - This is the last one so you have to agree

KAWA - OK but don't be too mean

IWA - My pet name for you is Baby Kawa......

Kawa glowed he was that red. " Iwa-chan are you trying to embarass me? Because it is working. Iwa just laughed and then he stopped in his tracks and put his hands over Kawa's eyes. "What are you doing Iwa-chan", he said flustered as the boy of his dreams was so close to him. "Kawa, he replied, I think that I've found the perfect place for our picnic. He lifted his hands away from Kawa's eyes and they both smiled at each other.

They were in a clearing with a picnic table and bench, a slide, climbing frames and a 2 seater swing with a canopy on it. They both sat and ate their food and just talked and laughed for over an hour.

Kawa stopped talking and looked at Iwa with a serious expression and said," Iwa-chan I've got something very important to ask you and you must answer truthfully". "OK, Iwa answered and prepared himself for what Kawa wa going to say, I'm ready, ask away. "Iwa-chan.......can I touch your biceps,". Iwa looked dismayed, "what?". Kawa couldn't hold is laughter in and just started laughing, he then got up and ran around the play area with Iwa chasing him also laughing loudly.

Iwa was just about to catch up when he saw Kawa drop to the floor with a groan and he could see the pained expression on his face. Iwa ran up to him and asked, "Kawa, are you ok, what happened. Kawa replied, " I have a bad knee, someone was bullying me last year and he attacked me and dislocated my kneecap", he had tears streaming down his face.

"Babe, it's OK, I'm here, Iwa said gently lifting Kawa up off the floor. He walked to the swing set and sat down and placed him on his lap. Iwa had his arms around him whilst rubbing his back gently. "Shush, it's OK. I'm going to make sure that no one hurts you again.

Kawa had his head in the crook of Iwa's neck but felt the overwhelming urge to kiss him. They both looked at each other and shortened the distance between them and kissed softly. Kawa had his hand on the side of Iwa's face and began to run his fingers through his hair. Iwa had his hands round Oikawa's waist. Both of them felt the electricity between them and that their hearts were going to explode.

They sat together like that for about 30 minutes until Kawa said, "we better get back to the house it's getting dark. Iwa kissed him on the nose and then squatted down with his back facing Oikawa, "come on Baby Kawa get on and I'll carry you back and when we get there I'll ice your knee for you.

Kawa got on his back and basked in the other boys heat. They both noticed how their heart beats seemed to be in sync with each other.

KAWA - I can't believe that I'm falling for you so fast.
