A mission

Other members had nothing against Jungkook after he had been so mad at Yoongi when you left. They still somehow understood their youngest one but trusted that Yoongi was right. He has never been wrong during these years, and they doubted he would be now.

Even though Jungkook's personal security left with them, Jungkook still felt it was wrong to allow you to go. He just had to trust his security and you. He wanted to trust Yoongi, but his feelings were too overboard to think such things or even act wisely.

After Jungkook had left the room, others looked at Jimin, who felt more than a pair of eyes on him. He understood he should go talk to him. Jimin is like the angel of this group, always with good intentions and words, which is why Jungkook relies on him more than he relies on the others.

''Maybe you should go home. I will stay with the guys here if that's okay? You have work tomorrow,'' Jimin said to Momo, who smiled sweetly at her fiancé.

''Of course,'' she said. ''As much as I would want to stay here and look after all of you, Jimin is right. Call me if you need anything.''

''Likewise,'' Jimin smiled at her before quickly pecking her, and she was out from the door.

''I will talk to Jungkook,'' Jimin sighed as he went after him.

He found him from the backyard sitting on one of their garden benches. Jungkook immediately heard him and quickly sniffed, wiping his cheeks from the tears he shed.

''I just needed fresh air,'' he said as Jimin sat beside him.

''I know saying 'it is going to be okay' is annoying to hear, but trust me. Yoongi is never wrong,'' Jimin tried to say.

''Yoongi doesn't know about the spy,'' Jungkook blurted out, and Jimin's eyebrows crashed together.

''A spy? What spy?''

''One of us is a spy. It is not me or you, as you're Y/n's brother, but it is one of us. It has been all this time. He is working for my father, and who knows how long he's been lying to us,'' Jungkook said.

Jimin had a hard time processing what Jungkook said. Someone who has been their friend and partner in crime for a long time was now a liar.

''Who do you think it is?''

''I have no idea. All I know is that I got a text from an unknown number saying there is a betrayer among us. This is why I was so scared to let Y/n go. It is not because I don't trust she won't be able to look after herself and the kids. I'm afraid this spy has told my father,'' Jungkook sobbed again.

''Have you told others?'' Jimin asked.

Jungkook shook his head. ''No, at this point, I cannot trust any of them. If I talk to them, they will know I know. I have to figure it out myself.''

''You got me. I won't tell the others,'' Jimin patted his back, and Jungkook gave him an assuring smile. He could always trust at least one person after you. Even though they didn't know Jimin was related to you, Jungkook believed it couldn't be him.

Even if it was him, Jungkook was sure Jimin would have stopped being a spy for the sake of his own family and possibly got himself killed by it. Jimin's will is strong, and he would never hurt you no matter how much money he would get from it or if he ended up dead.

''Have you thought about who could it be?'' Jimin asked.

Jungkook looked around and behind him to ensure none of the others had come after them. Even with no one around them, who knows how many hearing devices the spy has put in as they have been able to walk around the house. It made Jungkook sick to the stomach to think one of his long-time friends wasn't on his side and had been planning this.
