I was waiting for Jungkook to open his mouth and tell me what was going on, but he kept standing in front of me, looking at his feet, and not able to start a sentence.

''Jungkook, please,'' I kept my hands crossed. ''I want to be mad, but I can't. I want to be able to trust you, and I want you to be honest with me. Keeping this as the secret isn't what we promised.''

I tried to remind him about our pack's commitment to being completely truthful to one another. We keep no secrets except if it's to surprise the other. We don't hide things, and we don't lie. I think I've had enough of that.

And I have grown as a person and learned to understand everything through Jungkook's eyes. Which is why I said I wasn't mad. I was just disappointed in him for not telling me right away.

Jungkook must think I'm angry like I tend to be and have been in the past. He doesn't want to hurt me, and by being quiet now, I think he is just finding the right words to say so he won't say anything he'll regret.

That much I know my best friend, my love, my husband.

''I don't know where I should begin. If anything, I didn't want you to find this way. I was going to tell, trust me,'' he uttered. I found it so cute that I couldn't keep my hands crossed and just threatened him with sleeping on the couch face.

I took his hands on mine and made him look at me. ''When I promised to be your wife, I promised to handle the difficulties. I don't want you to suffer alone. This is my fight too, whatever it is.''

Jungkook smiled at that. ''I know, but you were so stressed with school, the kids, and me. I didn't want to tell you before I was sure this was happening.''

''I don't want to put you and the kids in danger anymore. You have suffered enough because of me, and I'd like to handle this with the guys. I don't want you to get involved because it might get you killed.''

I gave a peck to him. ''I'm not going anywhere. I might sound that desperate bitch I was back then, stubborn may be that you hate, but you aren't going to get me away from this.''

''But Y/n-''

''No buts, Jungkook, please. They're our children. You don't have to be the only responsible parent here. I'm not going anywhere.'' I stopped him from talking.

I know Jungkook was going mix of feelings inside of his head right now. He is used to me being mad about every little thing, maybe he wasn't expecting me to be this mature.

Or he didn't know if he should allow me to be a part of this or forbid me at all costs. After all, it will risk my life, and that is the last thing he wants. He didn't want to put me in danger anymore.

I took his face into my hands. ''I promise I'll stay away from dangerous places, not take bullets unless it's for you-''

''Don't even joke about that one,'' he shushed me.

''I'm trying to say that you guys handle whatever kungfu thing you need to if necessary, and I will stay aside. But you have to keep me updated so I know. Promise me?''

He kissed me, and it wasn't just a short peck. It was more than that. ''I promise.''

We ended up sitting down in our backyard for a long time when Jungkook explained to me everything from the start. Starting from the day when he was supposed to look after the kids and I was studying.
