Baekhyun lost track of how long he had been crying that night. But he had no other choice since it was something he had agreed on already.
Dragging himself by his feet, he walked into the bathroom to wash up and changed into his pyjamas which Minyoung had bought for him. A pastel green satin piece that felt extremely soft against his smooth skin and lulled him to sleep.
Turning to his side, he pulled up the covers to his head. 'Everything will be alright, Baek. Hold on,' he murmured to himself as he slowly drifted off to dreamland as his hands wrapped themselves around his torso.
Meanwhile, Chanyeol's eyes scanned around the loud room and finally fell on the doctor who he had come to meet. "Hey, Soo," he pecked his lips, the other shamelessly kissing back. But Chanyeol deep down felt nothing like what he felt when Baekhyun and he kissed.
"I didn't think you would actually come," and the taller laughed. "Why wouldn't I, after you called me?" Kyungsoo smiled at the other. He fumbled his bag before pulling out the documents he had showed the other on the night of the rehearsal wedding.
"You take it everywhere you go?" Chanyeol laughed and the other pouted. "Just sign them and get your husband to sign them too," he sighed before continuing, "it'll put my heart at ease. I can be assured that you will come back to me, Yeol."
He stroked his cheeks and traced his dimple staring into his eyes. Chanyeol put his bigger palm on the other's, "Don't think anything, I'll always be yours," he assured him but Chanyeol himself could hear no sincerity in that.
Without reading through the document, he grabbed his pen and signed the documents. "I'll give this to Baekhyun too then you will feel at ease, right?" The owl-eyed male nodded with a soft smile on his heart-shaped lips.
Then they talked and danced for a little while before the CEO decided to head home. As soon as he began walking back home, Kyungsoo dialled Luhan's number.
"How did it go?" the Chinese male questioned, "Did he sign it?"
"Yes, he did. He did not even read through."
"Well, that's a good thing. Let's meet at my cafe tomorrow, I can't talk much right now," there was a short pause before he continued, "Sehun's here and we cannot risk anything."
Kyungsoo replied in the affirmative before hanging up.
The next morning, as promised the two met. "If Yeol divorces Baekhyun, wouldn't it be a good opportunity for Sehun to get to him?"
"Oh no, I have someone else who's more than ready to have Byun and it's not Sehun." With a smirk, he uttered out and sipped on his latte.
"What do you mean?"
"Wu Yifan," Luhan gave a cunning smile, "ring a bell?" He put down his glass before looking at Kyungsoo, "I don't know if he loves him or something but he would love anything or anyone that belongs to Park Chanyeol."
"So Sehun would not get him either? But what if he gets him somehow before Kris?"
"Kris is someone who would never let go of anything if he has his eyes set on it, especially if it's Park's."
Luhan nodded with a cheeky smile and the other mirrored it. They went on discussing more until the doctor's phone rang loudly interrupting them.
"Baekhyun keeps calling me to ask if his suspension has been lifted." He groaned in his palm. "Tell him to come back to work then," Kyungsoo stared at the other confused.
"Before you cuss me out," Luhan took a sip from his glass, "Jaehwan is holding back since the baby is an heir to the company. But," he took a breath, "if something happens to the baby, Baek has no leverage there."
