Luhan clenched his fist hearing the two familiar voices. He peeked his head out from the corner of the building to see Sehun and Baekhyun.

"I saw my mom, Hun," he cried on his chest, "she looked the same but happier. I missed her so much, Hun. There were times I wished for to be as miserable as I was but I was happy seeing her so happy, Hun."

Sehun caressed his head as he cried, "Does she miss me, Hun, as I do?" The brunet was at a loss for words. He could never imagine his life without his parents and he had no idea how he could comfort the younger.

Luhan froze as he leaned on the wall and slid down. Memories flooded his mind, Memories where he held his mother's hand for the last time before seeing the flat line on the machine beside her. He remembered how hard it was for him and he knew what the other would be going through.

With tears down his eyes, he fished his pocket for his phone. The Chinese man wasted no time to call the owl-eyed male. "I don't wanna go on with this anymore, Kyungsoo."

He took a breath before continuing, "I don't wanna torment him anymore, let's give up."

"If I really love Sehun, I should not be tormenting the person he likes. I'm not that immature."

He wiped off his tears and smiled to himself, "You should stop too, let fate play its role." Luhan took a deep breath and ended the call. He again peeked at the duo, "I'm sorry," he smiled before turning around and walking home.

But Kyungsoo was not ready to give up. He was not someone who backed away from anything and he had to have what he wanted.

Meanwhile, the Park's mansion looked as if it had been haunted. It was eerie and always quiet. The reason you ask, none other than Park Chanyeol and Byun-Park Baekhyun. For the rest of the week, Chanyeol and Baekhyun had refused to meet eyes and both had a cold aura around them. Minyoung and Jaehwan hated the deafening silence and Minyoung did more than anyone.

She had tried to leave them alone for a whole day and even secretly set up a candlelight dinner but it had not worked instead they only drifted away further and further.

A week later, Chanyeol and Baekhyun were to leave for their jobs. The doctor was happier since he knew he would not have to look at his husband's face more.

"Chanyeol-ah like I said you're dropping and bringing back Baekhyun," cried Minyoung from downstairs but never got a reply from the two. The raven head was in the shower and Baekhyun was making final touches to his hair.

As he looked in the mirror, his eyes settled on his midsection. He peeked out his head to see if the other was still in the bathroom before coming back to stand in front of the mirror.

He slowly lifted his shirt to see the little swelling on his tummy. It was nothing noticeable but if someone were to look a little close, they would see the tiny bump. A grin crept on his face seeing that the little one was growing well.

But it was a constant reminder to him that Chanyeol was the one who had saved the little one.

"What are you doing?"

Baekhyun let down his shirt before turning to glare at the other. "I see no reason to answer you." The raven head rolled his eyes before getting into his office attire. The younger walked downstairs not forgetting to glare at his husband.

"Oh, Baek," Minyoung gave him a warm smile seeing him walk into the dining room, "Are you ready to go back?" Baekhyun smiled, more like grinned widely before nodding.
