The next morning, Chanyeol and Baekhyun were the same, with a coldness between them and Minyoung sighed unable to do anything to fix them.

"So why were you two late last night, honey?" Chanyeol opened his mouth to reply but the younger beat him to it, "I had to take care of a patient, Mom." The raven head looked at his husband who smiled at him.

"But don't overwork yourself, yeah?" The younger gave a nod before continuing his breakfast.

When the couple had arrived at the hospital, Chanyeol turned to Baekhyun. "Why did you lie to Mom?"

"I didn't want her to keep scolding you," he opened the door and peeked in, "you owe me one, Park." Chanyeol nodded and mumbled thanks to his spouse who smiled before walking into the hospital.

But he narrowed his eyes when he saw him walking back to the car. The raven head got out and went to stand in front of his spouse, "Did you forget something?"

Baekhyun fiddled with his fingers, "Are you free today? This afternoon?" Chanyeol pulled out his phone and went through his schedule, "Yeah, I have a few meetings to attend," he pocketed the device, "Why?"

The younger shook his head, "Nothing, don't be late tonight 'cause I won't be saving your ass this time." Chanyeol laughed and nodded before driving off to his office wondering why the younger was being nice to him. Baekhyun cast his glance down at the asphalt as the car vanished from his view.

"He forgot the checkup was today."

The moping male knocked on Minseok's door before walking in not waiting for a reply. His face went red on seeing the scene unfolding in front of him. "Dr. Kim?"

The said doctor pulled away from his spouse before freaking out at the voice. "Dr. Byun," he got his shirt on before handing over the other shirt to the nurse, Kim Jongdae who was just as flustered as him.

"I can explain."

"Oh my God! I knew it! I was right!" The pregnant male cheered at Minseok who shut the door before pulling him in and shutting him up with his palm. "How did you know?" asked Minseok and Jongdae rolled his eyes before pulling his palm away from the other's mouth, "How can he answer when you have closed his mouth, genius?"

Minseok let out an awkward chuckle before moving away. "But how do you know?" Jongdae asked. "Oh nothing, you two looked cute together."

The Kim couple rolled their eyes at the youngest in the room. "Why are you here so early anyway?"

"Thought I could have my weekly checkup before I get to work."

Jongdae narrowed his eyes, "Work? Where did you get a job?" Baekhyun smiled, "I'm back at the hospital." The nurse squealed in happiness before pulling the pregnant one for a hug, "Welcome back!" The younger was taken by surprise and chuckled.

"You have no idea how much I hate the other doctors here," the nurse sighed, "I missed you so much since you were the only nice doctor." Baekhyun thanked him for the compliment. "Chen, darling," Minseok started, "I too am a doctor here." Baekhyun and Jongdae laughed at the poor doctor who whined. 

"Now get back to work," Minseok said to his husband and Baekhyun smirked. "You two can continue what you were doing," he looked back and forth at the duo, "I can come back later." Jongdae laughed before leaving the two doctors alone, "Let's hang out later, you two."

Meanwhile, the receptionists checked their makeup seeing a tall brunet enter the place. "How can I help you, sir?" Sehun smiled at the lady. "I'm looking for a Baekhyun." Jongdae who was passing that way heard it and approached the taller.
