When Baekhyun woke up, he could see Sehun beside him with his eyes focused on his phone. The elder turned when he saw some shuffling from his peripheral view. "Hey," he helped him sit up, "how are you feeling?"

Baekhyun nodded and grabbed the glass of water from the table and chugged it down. He flinched at how loud the hospital was. "What's going on?" and Sehun shrugged before calling Jongdae who was coming their way. 

"Kyungsoo left," he breathlessly uttered from running around, "there are only two doctors in the ER and we had an accident nearby."

Before Sehun or Jongdae could hold him back, Baekhyun was on his way over to the patients. "He never listens, does he?"

"Nope, not at all." Sehun shook his head, "Let him be though. He's working to forget about everything that's going on with him."

The nurse chuckled after a moment of silence. The brunet raised his brow at the nurse, "Nothing," he turned to Sehun, "I'm just thinking that you should've been the one to knock him up."

Sehun sighed, "I wish so too."

When things started to get more hectic, Sehun bid his goodbye and took his leave as he did not want to be a bother.

Around 9, all the patients were fixed up and luckily they had no casualties. Baekhyun and Jongdae walked side by side holding hands, "I made Minseok wait for a long time," the nurse chuckled and the doctor joined in.

That was until Jongdae halted in his steps and his friend mirroring him. "What is it?" Jongdae replied nothing but pointed in front of them.

Baekhyun widened his eyes at the sight. Chanyeol was curled up on one of the benches asleep, only his thin shirt covering him. "I think he's determined to make up with you."

The doctor rolled his eyes, "And out of everything, why would you think that?" Jongdae shrugged, "There was this gossip among the nurses," he looked at his friend, "that they heard a low sexy voice yell at Dr. Do. And some said he was tall and handsome so I thought it could only be your husband since, you know, our hospital doesn't have that sort of men."

The nurse waited for a reply from his friend but before he could, "Oh, Dr. Baek," a receptionist who walked by them stopped, "your husband was looking for you. I told him you were busy."

"Yeah I found him, thanks," the younger replied and the lady smiled as she walked past them. "Ready to go home?" Minseok draped his arm around his husband and waved at Baekhyun who smiled back.

"Oh, he's still here?" The other two looked at the elder confused.

"He came here two hours ago but I and Sehun sent him away. I guess he came back." Two hours? Baekhyun pondered in his head.

The couple later bid their goodbyes and Baekhyun walked to his husband. He nudged him on his shoulder and the raven head stirred.

Squinting his eyes, he stretched his tired limbs. Seeing the smaller in front of him, he leapt up.

"They said you were a little busy so I decided to wait."

"Why?" The raven looked at his husband, "I came to take you home, Baek."

A scoff escaped the pouty lips, "Admit it, you just don't want to be scolded by your mother for not bringing me back," his glare grew colder, "Isn't that it?"

Chanyeol took his hands in his, "Baekhyun-ah," he looked at the younger, "I really am determined to fix our marriage, fix us. I know I took you for granted but now I've realized my stupidity, so please just give me a chance to prove myself to you."
