Baekhyun smiled as he laid on the grass as the daylight brightly shone around the place. The sky was clear and the sun warmed up his body. He could hear the whiz of insects and took a deep breath in and slowly let go sighing at the nice summer day. 

His eyes were closed while his ears perked up at the tiny little squeak and his husband's deep laugh. Cracking open his eyes, he squinted at the brightness before turning his head to the side. 

There they were, the loves of his life. Their little girl and his husband playing and splashing each other with the water gun under the hot sun. The little girl had inherited the giant's elf ears and Baekhyun's almond eyes, not to mention, the raven locks which complimented her porcelain skin and cheeks which were dusted pink. 

Her eyes twinkled in happiness as Chanyeol chased her around. Though the tall man could have caught her a long while ago, the doctor laughed seeing his husband take small steps trying not to catch the happy little girl. 

But he narrowed his eyes when a thought came to him, 'What's her name?' Baekhyun tried to stand up but could not move his legs. Then to his utter disbelief, neither his hands. "Papa," the little girl reached out to him with a toothy grin and red cheeks. 

"Baekhyunie!" the doctor looked at his husband who waved at him. As much as he wanted to, he could not move. "What day is it today?" he muttered to himself, "Did Minhyeok kill me? Am I in heaven?"

Were Chanyeol and their little girl dead too? Were they in heaven too? The male shook his body with panicked eyes.

Suddenly everything came crashing down. The hot sun was long gone and all he could see was darkness but his eyes caught his husband's figure walking away. "Baekhyun ah," he called out and turned around, "You need to get up if you wanna catch us, baby."

Everything was completely black as the memories of Minhyeok shooting him came to him. 

Nayeon almost passed out at the sight in front of her. She had just come back after hearing about Baekhyun's state from Minseok and it all happened in the blink of an eye.

One moment, Chanyeol was looking at his Baekhyun peacefully resting under the blankets and the next, his body began spasming uncontrollably. 

"Baekhyun!" Chanyeol screamed in utter shock. Minseok barged in through the door with a few nurses with him and Kyungsoo rushed to Chanyeol to hold him back, "What happened?" 

"Save him! Please!" The raven head held onto his friend's collar until he passed out.

When Chanyeol woke up, he groaned holding the side of his head. "How long did you go without eating? Kyungsoo said you passed out from dehydration, what were you thinking?" Jaehwan questioned him with his arms crossed on his chest. 

Chanyeol found it hard to swallow food ever since the incident. Even if he managed to get something in, a few minutes later he found himself throwing up. Thus the CEO had stopped eating for two days. 

The raven head was about to answer his father until the memories of the earlier incident hit him, he quickly got off the bed, "Dad, where's Baek? What happened?"

The elder smiled and patted his son's shoulder, "Minseok was waiting for you to get up. Go, meet him." Sehun too smiled as he walked with his cousin to the doctor's room. 

"Oh, hey!" Minseok greeted him with a smile and a hug. "What happened to Baek? Is he alright?" the doctor laughed and nodded at the CEO whose eyes went wide as saucers. The excited male hugged his cousin and the doctor as his eyes sparkled. 

"Oh, my God! Where is he? Can I see him?" Chanyeol asked with happiness on his face. Minseok chuckled, "Calm down there, big guy. We moved him to a ward and Sehun will show you. He's sleeping now and no one has visited since we figured you would want to be the first."
