Chapter 9.5: Oh Klahoma

Giorno opened the doors to his home. The currents were drawn, lights were dim and the house was silent. That was unusual for the Joestar family.
Before the 15-year-old could fully assess the situation his 5 siblings jumped out of every possible entryway.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GIO!"
Jolyne held a bright yellow cake in her arms and her twin had a card. Giorno recognized the card in her hand and winced.
"Oh... thanks," The blond took the card and started to walk towards the stairs. 
"Wait! Aren't you gonna try the cake?" Joseph yelled after him.
With a forced smile Giorno responded, "Maybe later, I'm going to sleep. Night."
Joseph was about to question but Jotaro stopped him.

Once in his room Giorno sat his bag down he walked over to his closet and pulled out a shoebox. In the box, there were dozens of identical Birthday, Christmas, Father's Day cards.
Giorno sighs "Another card... thanks, dad."

Happy birthday, Giorno, Use this money for college and be somebody.
