CHAPTER 10

KUROO'S POV

As I decide to go for a drink. I went to Bokuto's place. I a went inside, there's a ruckus in the middle of the bar. I look at the scene and saw y/n in the middle of the fight. I immediately walk towards her but it's too late, the guy throw punches to each other but I got more surprised of what happened next, she just kicked and punched the two. After that she went to the staff room.

I immediately walk after her. All the staff are staring at me while I wait for her to  come out. When she finally came out I pulled her by force because I know she will not listen to me anyways. I apply some cream on her bruises and band aids on some scratch.

She forgave those bastards and that pisses me off. I saw her work and I just stare at her while I drink.

"Hey, tell the others to go ahead first" I said to one of my people.

"But boss-" He tried to talk back but I glared at him. And he immediately went outside.

As the bar are closing I wait for her outside.

"I'll drive you home!" I said as I saw her on the door.

"You don't have to" she said and starts to walk.

"Look, I'm pissed and really angry right now. Let me drive you" I said with the a tone of authority.

"I'm not your people to obey your orders" she said. She's really stubborn. Like her.

"Hey, just let me drive you please" I said as my energy are gone to argue with her.

"Ha~ okay" she sighed and finally agreed. We went in to the car and I starts to drive.

"Kuroo-san" he called me. And I immediately look at her and stops the car.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"How do you know Kei?" She asked.

"Tsukishima? Hmm. At the hospital well he's a member of a mafia after all" I said bluntlessly. I saw her eyes got widen.

"He's a what?" She asked

"A member of mafia" I said.

I starts to drive again as she keeps quiet.

"I think I'm not the right person to say this. Ha~ but I said it anyways" I said.

We arrived at the beach. The sight of sunrise to cleanse our minds. She just stares at it.

"Do you and Tsukishima are you know, a thing?" I asked her because I'm curious.

"Huh? No" she immediately answered.

"But how do you know Tsukishima?" I asked her.

"I met him when he saved my life" she plainly said. I wait for her to tell.

"Save your life?" I said asking for more details.

"Kei said he found me on a dark alley maybe it was 2 years ago. I woke up and not remembering a thing" she said as she looks at the sea.

I can't say a thing. I don't know if it is a coincidence but my heart beats so fast as my thoughts are all tangled. My fiance died two years ago as they ambushed our headquarters when I'm away for business. There's no body found as the building turns into dust. But only her ring found after the incident.

"Kuroo-san? Kuroo-san?" She called me.

"S-sorry. What is it?" I asked her.

"Are you okay?" Y/n asked.

"Y-yeah" I immediately said.

"Let's go" I said and starts the car. On our way to her apartment she dozed off maybe she's really tired.

"Uhm y/n we're here" I said as I woke her up. She opens her eyes and for the time slowly passing by. We met eyes that makes me flustered.

"Oh. S-sorry. Thank you for the ride" y/n said and unbuckled her seatbelt.

"Okay. See you" I said and I wait for her to enter her apartment. I went home. Feeling confused. Hoping the slightest possibility.

"Kenma, gather information about the ambushed two years ago. Check the copy if cctv footage. I need it today" I said as I entered the headquarters.

"For what?" Kenma asked.

"I need it" I said as I passed them by. They look confused. I went back to my office to see some related cases.

I didn't sleep. I look and look for the information.

"Kuroo here" Kenma said as he entered mt office.

"Thanks" I said without looking at him.

"Kuroo" Kenma called.

"What is it?" I askes him.

"Nothing" He said and walks out of the room. I immediately look at the footage and some information to see some suspicious.

After few hours. There's none.

"Ha~" I said as I massaged my temple.

"Kuroo-san!" Lev said as he barged in to my office.

"What is it Lev?" I askes him.

"Y/n's apartment are ruined I mean. I saw it's a mess" Lev explained.

"WHAT?" I immediately said.

"I drove passed her apartment and when I look at it. I saw that her door are open so I stopped the car and look at her apartment. When I entered her room are all ruined" Lev said. My eyes widen open. When I think of it there's a suspicious car tailing us but I ignored it since it turned away when I starts to notice it.

"Let's go" I said and immediately went to the car. Tora and Lev came with me. As we soon arrived at the place. I saw how mess it is.

"Y/n" I starts to call her name maybe she went hiding. Tora and Lev starts to look at the nearby surroundings.

I saw bullets on her apartment and my heart starts to beat fast. Some blood on the floor and knives everywhere.

Tora went back to the apartment.

"Have you seen anything?" I immediately asked them.

"We saw her at the dark alley" Tora said. I immediately went out of the apartment. They got her on the car and we immediately went back to the headquarter.

"Lev call Alisa" I immediately said as I held her in my arms.

"I did" Lev said. And when we got back. Alisa there and immediately run her to my room to check her.

"Kenma check the nearby cctv footage" I said as I walk at the office.

"I already did. It's on your laptop now" Kenma said.

I open the file and as soon I immediately drove away there's a car followed after me. They went out of their car and looked at the CCTV like they know I'm looking at it now. My anger went up to my head as I gritted my teeth.
