Erwin turned as he saw the Armored Titan emerge from the forest, running with Bertholdt, Ymir, and Eren.

He spun his horse around, facing them.

"Ride!" He ordered. "Let the Titans chase you! All squads, follow my lead!!!"

"Do what?!" An MP gasped in shock. "Erwin, you conniving bastard! You're using us as bait again?!"

"It's the only way!" Erwin responded. "You fought well as MPs. Now give your all as soldiers! The Armored Titan must be stopped before he takes Eren. Failure is not an option!!!"

The Scouts followed after the Armored Titan, hot on its trail.

"Reiner's too slow!" Jean shouted. "We got 'im!!!"

Mikasa looked over to Hans.

"We can't hesitate this time," she said, her voice lowering. "We can't."

"Right," Hans agreed, nodding as he accepted what he had to do. "I'll kill the bastards."

"If Ymir feels like getting in the way, so much the worst for her!" Mikasa hissed. "This ends here and now. I swear it!"

Hans's emotions twisted as he thought of his friendship with the Titans.

He looked down.

He will get Eren back, no matter what.

Ymir reached her claw down her throat, pulling Historia out as she coughed, gasping for air.

"Christa!" Bertholdt exclaimed, turning to her.

Historia's eyes widened as she stared at Ymir's Titan form.

"Ymir!" She exclaimed.

Steam began to flow from the back of Ymir's Titan's nape as Ymir pulled herself out.

Ymir coughed as she looked up, her face and arms molded to the monster's body.

"Christa--," she coughed in glee.

Ymir gagged, gasping for air.

"No--," she corrected. "Historia--. I'm sorry about eating you. You're uh, probably pissed."

"Wha-- What is this?! I--!" Historia gasped in shock. "What's going on?! Talk to me! We came to talk to you and Er--!"

"JUST SHUT UP!" Ymir screamed. "I don't need rescuing. Things have changed. I'm with Reiner and Bertholdt now. Like it or not, you're coming with us. There's no future inside the Walls!"

She panted, catching her breath.

"Hear me out for a second, okay?" She said, looking down. "Life outside isn't as bad as you think, believe me. For starters, there's no one saying the world outside woulda been a better place if you were never born."

"Yeah, I don't think Titans would say much either way!" Historia exclaimed. "They'd be too busy trying to devour me!!!"

"We've all got flaws!" Ymir countered. "They're not so bad if you just give 'em a break! It's complicated, okay?! Get off your high horse!!!"

"Ymir!" Historia shouted. "I don't know what's going on in your mind, but your not making any sense! Come on! What did Reiner and Bertholdt say? You're doing this against your will, they threatened you!!!"

"It's the opposite, actually," Bertholdt spoke up.

"I'm right, aren't I?!" Historia asked Ymir, ignoring Bertholdt. "Let go! Whatever they've got on you, I don't care! We can fight them! Put the past behind you! What matters is right now!!!"
