"Tucker just went to....well....I don't know where, but he said he'd be gone for a couple of hours. I was wondering if maybe you wanna watch a movie?" Tom asked, awkwardly convincing.

My mind raced as I kept thinking to myself, why didn't Tucker tell me?

"Uh sure. What kind?"

"Oh ya know. Maybe some horror?"

"TOMAS! YOU KNOW I HATE HORROR!" I screamed, laughing.

"C'mon." He said, "Come here."

He patted the cushion next to him and I reluctantly sat down. I ended up shielding my eyes from the television while I heard the sounds. It got to a point where I could at least peek.

Tom kept laughing whenever I shrieked or cringed.

However, in every single movie, there is always a romantic scene. The awkward ones.

I was still covering my eyes when I heard the sounds of lips kissing and heavy breathing. I looked up at Tom and said, "You didn't tell me it's a romantic horror movie!" I gave him a slight punch in the arm.

"What's a movie night, without a surprise?" He smirked.

The scene got more awkwardly intense. I started to shift and move around because I was uncomfortable watching people make out on TV while sitting right next to a man---that I have feelings for? Do I?

After that movie, he put on another. I almost forgot about how long Tucker has been out. It didn't bug me that much.

For this movie, Tom brought in some beer. I get uncontrollable around beer, especially vodka, I tried to stay away, but couldn't resist.

I was pretty drunk when the romantic scenes started. I could tell Tom was as well.

In the movie, a very adorable couple were, well, kissing but it was very romantic.

I sighed and said, "I wish my relationship was like that."

Tom looked down at me, and for a minute, our eyes met. "It can be." Tom said, drunk, but I can tell he meant it.

Ignoring the movie, I rest my head on his chest. He put his arms around me and I looked up at him, almost surprised.

"Sonja?" He asked.

"Yeah?"

He gave me a look that said 'hold still' and he leaned down and for a minute, everything was perfect.

And for a minute, our lips were touching.
