Anirudh who was totally broken and crushed was crying inconsolably hugging bondita's photo saying " aise kaise tumne apne biristra babu ko bulgayi bondita choti si chot bhi mujhse aake kehethi thi aaj itna bura haal mein bhi tumme mera yaadha nayi aaya kyu bondita, jaantha hoon meri ek faisle ne tumme pathar banadhiya mujhe maaf kardo " and crying continiously. After some hours his eyes were deep red he manged to get up and go to his room in the way he saw the alcohol bottle in the shelf, he needed it badly hence he poured and gulped the whole bottle. Then he went to his room where manorama was seeing his way.
"Anirudh yeh kya haal bandhiya tumne ani... " but he was not in his senses he walked unsteadily fell several times when she went to help he just stopped her and finally fell near bed and started crying unconsolably, manorama rushed and hugged him to pacify he also hugged back and cried later she made him lay in her lap and patted, he kept crying and finally slept.
Manorama also slept in the sleeping position. Anirudh who wake up in the morning found himself in manorama's lap felt guilty and he woke up manorama and said " main yahaan kaise aaya ?" she replied " tum bohut rorahe the aur nashe main bhi the aur yahaan rote rote sogaya " she completed.
" lekin tumhara godh mein kaise aaya kuch galath kiya kya " he was totally flushed and ashamed of his behaviour. "nayi nayi anirudh kuch galath nayi kiya tum bohuth ro rahe the isliye maine apne godh main litaya " she said in hesitation.
" kyu aisa kia manorama tu jaanti nayi eh galath hai " he shouted to which she replied calmly " jaanthi hoon anirudh tumme mujhse zindagi bar ka pyaar hogaya hai chupane ki jaroorath nayi hai bolna hai toh mujhe bhi tum ache lagne lage ho aur eh bhi toh sach hai na bondita tumhari zimmedari hai, tum zimmedari niba sakthe ho mujhe koi shikayath nayi hai " she said in a go.
This made him lost all his senses he pushed the flower vase and said " galath hai tum bulgayi kya humari shaadi ek shodha tha ek samjotha tha! zindagi wala pyaar kuch nayi tha wo bus akarshan tha jo tummhari himmath aur desh bhakthi dekkhe hua! aur kya kaha bondita meri zimmedari nayi wo meri sab kuch hai uski dard meri ankon mein ansu la sakthe hai ! uski baare mein har shan sochthe rehena hai ! uski khushiyaan kiliye jaan thak denekiliye tayar rehna hai ! isse pyaar kehethe hai toh mujhe bondita se pyaar hogayaa hai ! jab meine suna ki bondita ne kaha ki uskiliye koi nayi hai mano dil toot gaya aisa laga ki mar kyu nayi jaatha eh sunke abhi soch raha hoon kyu meri zindagi mein khushi nayi hai kyu ki meri khushi bondita se judi huyi hai dukh bhi ! mere pura duniya bondita ki irdh girsh gumne laga ! tumhari koi galthi nayi hai manorama maine shaadi shuda hokar dusri shaadi ki wo galath hai ! hosake toh maaf kardo mujhe aur muje bhool jao aur apne desh ki ladaai mein dhyaan do ! ha jab baath yahaan tak aagayi jitna jaldi hosake tum yahaan se chali jao manorama ! and he went swiftly outside the room.
Later manorama realized that she harboured feelings for a wrong person and only bondita is correct for anirudh. Then she packed her bags and leave the house saying kaka about her marriage truth.
Anirudh who understood bondita is his strength went to the dalhouise hostel and met bondita who was in bed taken care by a nurse, he shedded tears when she sat expressionless. Later anirudh applied for her transfer certificate and said bondita " ghar chale bondita abhi se tum tumhare purane school me padogi ". she just nodded.
" kuch bolo bondita ! " anirudh requested packing her bags. " isme bolne ke kya hai barrister babu aap ho jinhone paise karch karke mujhe padarahae ho aap! yahaan beja maine bhi agayi ! wapis bularayi abhi bhi bina sawal pooch kar aajaungi ! bhoj ko bolne ko adhikaar nayi hotha hai .
" bondita kabardar tumharaliye aisa waise shabd nikala toh chalo aage se kahi nayi jaoge " he brought her home in a wheel chair. kaka was happy finally his grehalahmi was back but he felt bad seeing her no more chirpy and bubbly. She have became a human toy who does the actions recited by others.
Anirudh stayed with her mostly taking care of her and spending very little time for cases that too most important ones. When bondita got to know about anirudh's fake marriage she didn't react much, she thought marriage might be false but what he said on marriage day was indeed true.
But anirudh didn't cared about her ignorance he talked to her as like normal situation and reacted as she was not angry but she stayed still.
Sampoorna tried to reach bondita and harm her by words but in back she said " mari huyi aadmi ko bhaar bhaar maar nayi sakthe". Binoy who saw that confronted sampoorna and warned her not to interfere in bondita's affairs.
One rainy day bondita has taken hair bath with the help of the nurse, and made sat on the bed. she was reading a book with a plain face. Anirudh entered and saw her, he said " arey bondita kya hai yeh bahaar jhor se bhaarish horahi hai yahaan kya kar rahi ho chalo bahar chalke dekthe hai " as he knows bondita loves rain.
" nayi mein tk hoon !" she reverted back. " aise kaise tk chalo and he made her sat on the wheel chair and pushed to the balcony and placed the chair in a distance from where she can witness the rain. Then he called bihari and asked him to make snacks which bondita likes to which bihari and koyeli happily obliged and get into the work.
"kaka kaka " he yelled. " arey kya hua anirudh gala fad ke chilla kyu raha hai " he came with his stick. " arey kya hai kaka hum sab bhaarish dekrahe hai bihari se naasta bhi bananekiliye kehediya, som aur batuk bhi arahe honge aap humare saath samay nayi bitha sakthe hai kya " he shouted to which bondita turned and saw them. " kaka seeing her smiled with tears and said " kyu nayi jab humare poora parivaar yahaan hai hum kyu nayi aayenge hum jaarahe hai apni bahu ke pass " he said and went and sat near the chair near bondita's wheel chair.
In some time som batuk and bihari koyeli with snacks also came, everyone were busy pulling bondita into talks but she just smiled little but literally enjoying it. Anirudh also took a seat near her and adored her, suddenly " kaka sasurji wahaan dekhiye mor naach raha hai " she exclaimed happily seeing a male peacock dancing in a rain adorably. she clapped her hands in happiness and everybody was in tears seeing her finally happy.
Anirudh stood and came back and thought " dheere dheere tumme tumhari har koyi huyi muskaan wapis launga yeh wadha hai bondita tumhara patibabu ka. Ha jaan gaya hoon pyaar kya hai, jo bhi mein tumhari liye mehasoos kar raha hoon wo pyaar hai chahe abhi tum mujhse naraz ho lekin ek din mujhe maaf karogi aur pyaar bhi karogi mujhse yakeen hai mujhe humari durga maa pe! tab tak mere dil mein jo pyaar hai wo hum donokiliye kaafi hai ". and smiled wiping his tears, and went and joined his family as now bondita even started talking in between.
