Emergency Weeding 2 (WinterIron)

Part 2 of 2 of Emergency Wedding

Tony and Bucky were thrown in a cell. The judge had set the caution for Tony, waiting for the trial.
"You refused to pay the caution and get out of here?"
"Yup" tony said plopping on the bed.
"You are totally out of your mind. Why on earth would you do something like that?"
Bucky sat next to Tony.
"You're my husband, we're doing this together"
"Mr Stark?" an officer called, knocking on their cell's door.
"Come in"
The officer brought in two boxes full of binders.
Tony took out one binder and started hanging all of th half leads that had worked on on the wall of the cell.
"See, we have more resources here"

"Tony? Can we talk?" Bucky asked that night, while they were alredy tucked in their beds.
"What?"
Bucky jumped out of the top bunk, sitting on Tony's bed.
"Once...once this whole thing is done, whether we win or we loose, if you want.... if you want a divorce it's totally fine. This whole thing was crazy to begin with"
Tony sat up, being careful not to bump his head.
"Bucky, I regret many things in my life, but this- he pointed at Bucky and then at himself- is not one of that. I wanted this marriage, I want to be your husband"
Bucky looked away, a small tear fell on his cheek.
"Bucky look at me"
Tony cupped Bucky's face, wiping the tear away with his thumb.
"Can I kiss you?"
Bucky nodded and Tony pulled his face closer. Their lips fianlly crashed in a beautifully passionate kiss. Bucky's fingers interwhined in Tony's hair. Bucky pushed Tony on his back, making him lean on the bed, trying not to crash him with his body.
Bucky pulled away, breathless.
"I want to be your husband too, Tony"
Tony smiled and Bucky felt a bunch of butterflies flying in his stomach. Bucky started kissing Tony his collarbone. Tony chuckled and Bucky settled himself with his head on the base of his neck, tangling their legs. Tony caressed Bucky's hair.
"I love you" mumbled Bucky.
"What did you say?" asked Tony with a smile, having understand perfectly what he said.
"Nothing"
"I love you too, y'know"
Bucky smiled and Tony took his hand, interwining their fingers.

Tony was pacing up and down the little cell, while Bucky was sitting on the bed staring at the wall trying to make sense of it.
"Tones, I think I got it"
Tony stopped.
"You got what?"
"This. The solution. We have beeen considering only my connections but in truth Steve is the key."
Bucky walked to the wall and scribbled on some more sticky notes.
"The victims are all somehow connected to Steve. See? Second cousin, high school sweetheart, Steve's neighbour and Steve. Steve is the key to solve it."
Tony sat on the bed, observing Bucky.
"Stella Miller. She was Steve's stalker. They were together for a while and when Steve broke up with her she went totally nuts and was all over me because she thought I was the reason behind their break up"
Tony reached Bucky by the wall.
"So it would make perfect sense if she went all out and killed all of those people, pinning them on you"
"Yes, exactly. You think your PI guy can get her to talk?"
Tony jumped into Bucky's arms.
"We're almost there, baby, we're almost there"

"Yes, Stella Miller. Yes...New York, Brooklyn. Ok, let me know. Bye Pep"
Tony hang the phone and turned to Bucky.
"Pepper will let us know as soon as the PI gets her back.

Later that week
"...and then I just did it. The first time was strange, the next four were kind of fun. So yes, I killed Seve Rogers"
Pepper stopped the recorder.
Tony and Bucky were holding each other's hand. They looked at each other, their smile was growing bigger. Bucky leaned his head against Tony's chest. His eyes filled with tears.
Pepper and th lawyer stood up and left the room.
"We're giving you a little time"
Tony started strocking Bucky's long locks as he let go of all the tears.
"Hey hey, we did it Buck, we did it"
When Bucky finally stopped crying, he looked up with his eyes red for all the tears and the cheeks wet. He cupped Tony's face with one hand while Tony took the other one and kissed it.
"Thank you Tony. Thank you for everything, I couldn't have done it without you"
"Bucky babe, you're my husband, we're in it for better and for worse, we did worse, now best is waiting ahead of us"
"I thought it would make me fell better, y'know, knowing who killed him.but it doesn't. It doesn't Tony. He's still dead. And it's not going to change"
Tony hogged him closer.
"Hey I know it's difficult, I know that pain, but I'm here. You don't have to go though it alone. I'll always be here"
Buck smiled.
"I love you Tony. When we're out of here I want a real wedding,with real suits, real rings"
Tony stroke the top of Bucky's head.
"Ok, baby, we'll get married properly, I swear"

At the court, few weeks from then
The last day of Tony and Bucky's trial fianlly came. The jury was still out deliberating.
Bucky was biting his nails, while Tony was caressing his thigh.
"We're almost at the finish line, Buck"
The jury came back and silently, all of the members sat down. The Spokesperson stood up and cleared his throat.
"Your Honor, the members of this jury find the defendants not guilty of all charges"
Bucky and Tony stood up and they threw at each other, hugging each other close.
"Oh my god we did it"
"Yes baby, we did it"
"Then let's get married" Tony said taking Bucky's hand and his briefcase before walking out of the courtroom.

The wedding day
Tony left it up to Pepper to organise the wedding. They left her blank page. Thy didn't have preferences, they just wanted to get married and they knew that Pepper would organise the perfect wedding.
"Are you ready?" Pepper asked, pinning the white rose on Tony's grey suit.
Tony nodded.
"I've alredy married him once"
Pepper opened the door and took Tony by the arm, Tony and Pepper nodded at each other before walking down the aisle.
Bucky was waiting for him under a beautiful arch made of white and pink roses. He smiled at Tony and whined away a tear.
Rhodey was officiating the wedding, that technically alredy happened.
"Do you, Tony, take Bucky here to be your husband, to love and cherish him, for better and for worse, in sickness and in health, 'til death do you part?"
"And even after that"
Bucky giggled. "Sorry sorry, go ahead"
"Do you, Bucky, take Tony here to be your husband, to love and cherish him, for better and for worse, in sickness and in health, 'til death do you part?"
"Once again, I do"
"By the power vested in me by officiateyourwedding.com, I pronounce you husband and husband. You may kiss the...husband"
Tony rolled his eyes and chuckled. He pulled Bucky closer to him by his wrist, pulling him in for a kiss.
"Hey Mr Stark" Tony whispered on Bucky's lips.

Tony pulled over and parked in front of the cemetery. He put a hand on Bucky's thigh
"Are you ready?"
Bucky sighed and nodded.
Tony stepped out of the car, runnin on the other side to open the door for Bucky. Bucky put on a little smile and stepped out. He took Tony's hand and they walked though the gate.
They arrived in front of Steve's grave.
"Hey Stevie. How are you? I got married today, y'know. His name is Tony, he's here now. I thought...I thought you were going to be my best man on the best day of my life. I know what you might be wanting to ask. Yes, he makes me happy, very happy. I love him Stevie and if you were here I know for a fact that you would love him too."
Tony handed Bucky the rose he was holding and Bucky gently tucked it un Steve's grave.
"This is the rose you would have worn if you were here today."
Bucky turned towards Tony, who immediately hugged him, gently caressing his back.
"I miss him Tony, I miss him so bad"
"I know baby. I love you, you know that"
Bucky nodded before blowing a kiss to Steve's grave and caressed it before turning and walking away.
"Bye Stevie"
Tony walked closer to the gravestone, putting a hand on it.
"I'll keep an extra eye on him for you" he said before slowly running to Bucky.
Tony put an arm around Bucky's waist, waiting for Bucky to put his arm around his shoulder and to take his hand. Bucky smiled as their fingers intertwined and kissed Tony on the temple.
