Percy:
I couldn't quite believe everyone - Astraea had only just got here, and they were already doubting her. However suspicious the circumstances, they should at least give her a chance. I think she picked up on my dejected mood on the way to the armoury, as she asked, "Are you doing ok? I never got the chance to properly thank you before, so I just thought I'd see how you were doing." I gave her a half apologetic, half thankful smile.
"Yeah, I'm all good thanks. Just annoyed. I would have thought that everyone would have been a bit more welcoming of you."
"They have good reason, though. It's only been a few months since the Giant War, so I can imagine everyone's nerves are on high alert."
I gave her a quizzical look, wondering how she knew about it. She obviously saw this and quickly said, "Chiron told me about it on the tour - he also said that this might be a reason why there was a bit of hostility." I nodded in understanding.
"Aha! We're here!" I exclaimed.
Astraea stared at me. "Where? The rusted tool shed of heroic acts? It looks more like a gardening shed to me."
"Well, no, at least, not exactly..." I stumbled, before bursting out laughing. "Looking - looking at it properly, I see what you mean." I continued between fits of laughter. By this point, even Astraea was having trouble keeping a straight face.
"Ok! Back to business: choose your weapon!" I stated, flinging open the door to the shed.
She made a grand display of inspecting the different weapons, trying to see what fit her most, with the occasional flick of her ebony ponytail, glancing back towards me dramatically, just for effect. After a lot of debating, she pulled out a pair of silver, 30 inch hunting knives from nowhere.
"These!" She exclaimed, "definitely these."
"I've never seen anything of this metal before - they must be the only two of their kind. And their names... Χιόνι and Κρύος. Snow and Ice. Nice." I chuckled at my own pun.
She laughed slightly. "I always have had a fondness for cold weather..." The conch horn blew for dinner, interrupting the rest of her sentence. She looked startled, glancing over at me for an explanation."That's the horn for dinner." I explained. "And after that: Capture the Flag."

Leo:Today's been weird. Not only did one, very angry daughter of Athena attack me, she also insulted my Archimedes Sphere. Now that's just plain rude. And then, out of nowhere, Astraea is found at the borders. Admittedly, I was quite shocked. Not just because of the power radiating off her, but the way she looked. She's gorgeous, no doubt about that, even whilst being attacked by giants. She looked like one of those actresses, with wind blowing her hair and special effects going off in the background. But it was more than that - she reminded me of someone, someone I can't quite remember. I guess we'll know more once she's claimed...
I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't realise I had already entered the dining pavilion. I looked up just in time to walk into Jason. "Oh Gods, sorry about that man, I was lost in my thoughts..." I started to apologise, but Jason cut me off.
"Hey, it's no problem, we've all been there before. Anyway, how are you? I feel like I've barely seen you recently, what with the travelling between the camps." He asked. (A/N: In this, it's only been a few weeks since the war has ended. Apollo has finished his trials without the help of Jason and Piper *cough* plot hole *cough*, and Jason never *spoiler to those who haven't read The Burning Maze* dies. Plus, Leo rescued Calypso, but they've remained friends, and are going to review a potential relationship in the future. This is purely for a...plot point.) "I've not been too bad, Calypso has been helping me out in Bunker 9 when she's not off exploring the world. How about you?" I grabbed the food from my table whilst talking, starting to walk towards the brazier.
