Maybe Kit lied when she said she could hold her alcohol well.

No matter how much water and food she consumed with the burning liquid, she still ended up with her head in Moons toilet. Alcohol was not good for her in any way it seemed, her insides flying from her mouth. Kit groaned as she leaned on the toilet, praying no one had used it. Standing up slowly, Kit leaned on the counter and washed her mouth out. As she looked in the mirror, she always laughed.

"Pathetic." she spoke to herself, kissing her hand before pressing it to her lips in the mirror. Kit pulled the breath mints from her back pocket, popping a few in her mouth and fixing her hair in the mirror. When the bathroom door swung open, Kit went to bite their head off before seeing who it was.

Tory slammed the door back as she got inside, locking it and leaned on the counter. She breathed heavy, eyes watery as angry noises left her lips. Kit knew Tory well enough then to ask her right away what happened, instead leaning beside her and offering her a breath mint. Tory huffed as she looked toward Kit, taking one and throwing it in her mouth.

"Sam and Miguel were kissing." Tory said, voice deeper then usual as her face reddening in anger. Kit jumped up on the counter as she looked at her worried, "Right outside, by the pool."

Kit scoffed, "What assholes."

Tory scoffed and nodded her head. Kit tugged on her shoulder some, pulling Tory over, who walked between her legs and wrapped her arms around Kits waist. Kit held the back of Torys head to her chest, running a hand through the silky hair she went with today. Kit waited until she cooled down a bit to speak up, "You wanna go home?"

"Will you come too?" Tory asked her hopefully, looking up at her. Kit knew Tory was tough, she'd never once seen her cry. But her eyes were sad, watery. Despite the fact that they weren't together long, Kit knew Tory really did have strong feelings for Miguel.

"What about school tomorrow?" Kit asked, though her knew her mom probably wouldn't be home to wish her goodbye, "I have to stop by my house and grab some clothes."

Tory nodded as she helped Kit off the counter, the pair joining hands and walking out the back door toward Kits car.

"You're still doing cheer?" Tory asked as she looked at Kits cheer uniform that now laid on the end of her bed. Tory snuck Kit into her small apartment that night, making sure they stayed quiet and kept the blinds open for the street lights to shine though. Tory had a odd foil on her windowed, blue and pink, causing the light from the street to illuminate the room with that exact color. Kit asked about it when she first got here, being informed it kept the cold weather from coming in since her window was broken.

"Are you judging me?" Kit asked as she turned her back to Tory to pull the tight fitting top over her head.

"I just figured you'd be busy with karate now." Tory said, watching Kit reach behind her and shrug the black bra off, "You aren't quitting, are you?"
