The Riviera Ridge School.

A private school in Santa Barbara with a killer cheer team, one that usually won state and competitions no matter where'd they'd been. The school was exact a hour and forty minutes from Miyagi Do. Meaning Johnny, Eli, and Demetri had been in the car together for a hour and forty minutes just to show up at a private school, that Johnny talked shit on the second they showed.

"You're sure she is here?" Demetri had to ask as they stared at the school, the brown painted ceiling and palm trees out front oddly satisfying to watch sway.

"I tracked her on Snap Maps." Hawk said back, looking around the parking lot, "She got a scholarship here but didn't take it."

"What the hell are you waiting for? Go get her." Johnny encouraged the two with a odd looks across his face, "I'm not going in there."

"And say what?" Demetri asked him with a wave of his noodle arms, "Just waltz in there like 'Hey Kit, come back to The Valley right now because we need your help wining the All Valley?' She'll kick my ass!"

"She won't kick your ass." Hawk rolled his eyes, "Well, yeah, she will, but you know what I mean."

"She clearly doesn't want to be found. Shouldn't we respect her decision?" Demetri asked, glancing around the half empty parking lot, "Her car isn't even here."

"She couldn't pay for it so it was taken." Hawk said back.

"Listen up!" Johnny rose his voice at the pair, their eyes glancing his way, "The two of you are gonna go in there and get her back. Don't take no for a answer!"

"Ugh, consent." Demetri gave a dumbfounded look, "If she wanted to come back, she would."

"She does want to come back, she just doesn't want to see Tory." Hawk shrugged as he looked toward the fence, "Im gonna go get her."

"See." Johnny pointed toward the mohawk boy, "Go after him, noddle arms."

Demetri rolled his eyes again, "You're her sensei."

"So?" Johnny huffed.

"So she will most likely listen to you." Demetri said back as if he was speaking to a child, "It's complicated with the three of us."

"She's a complicated kid." Johnny shrugged, getting a stupid look in return, "Bring her out here, then we'll talk."

Demetri huffed as he walked off, mumbling, "Some leader."

"I think I see her." Hawk said as Demetri caught up to him, the pair leaning on the fence as they watched the cheer squad practice on the empty field, "I can't tell though."

"Kit has nice legs." Demetri nodded as he squinted, "There's a lot of nice legs out there."

Hawk ignored him, opening his bag and yanking out a pair of binoculars, "See if that is her."
