"I'm glad you called me." Moon spoke as she drove Kit home. The Clairmont girl made it the the LaRusso dealership before calling Moon, who lived the closest, to pick her up. "Walking hope is so dangerous. So many teenage girls are going missing."
"Thanks for getting me." Kit looked in her direction. They hadn't talked much since Moon dumped Kit when she realized how horrible Kit was, then they talked at her party, but that was really it. "Everyone else would have just gotten mad at me for going somewhere with Tory."
Moon turned the heater on a little bit more to warm Kit up. "You know, I never thought you'd leave Cobra Kai. You or Hawk, actually."
"It was pretty shocking for us too." Kit crossed her legs in the warm seats, missing the feeling of being in a expensive car that warms your seats up for you. "Now I think about the way I acted and it's just...insane."
"Well, i'm proud of you." Moon gave a confident look, turning the car. "For leaving Cobra Kai, realizing you're better then that. I know you're a good person, Kit."
She gave a minor smile over at Moon. "I'm sorry for being such a horrible person last year."
"I was just as bad." Moon shook her head honestly. "What matters is we've grown from that. I know Yasmine would love for you to start hanging out with us again."
"I'm okay." Kit said honestly, wanting to gag at even the thought of hanging out with Yasmine, who was too busy body shaming Kit and making her feel bad about herself, again. "I was meaning to talk to you soon, though. I wanna join cheer again."
Moon smiled. "Do you really? Aw, Kit, yes, please do! The team misses you so much."
"I miss the team too. And cheer in general. Like, I literally loved it so much and I threw it all away because Tory couldn't sit in the stands, even though it as completely reasonable because she was expelled." Kit laughed in disbelief, and Moon saw the flash of pain across her face. "What the hell is wrong with me?"
"Absolutely nothing." the girl scolded Kit in the slightest. "I don't know what all went on with you and Tory, but I know you loved her. I saw it, at my party. Love makes you do stupid things."
Kit had to agree with her. "Did you love Hawk? I know you guys were together for a little bit."
Moon laughed, shaking her head. "God, no. I mean, he was fun, definitely. But, you and I both know that's it's just a matter of time..."
"A matter of time before he realizes he's crazy about his best friend?" Kit finished her sentence for her with a laugh, Moon laughed too. "Believe me, I know. Try growing up with them, it was worse before."
"He literally would invite Demetri every single time we'd hang out." Moon shook her head with a minor smile. "Is it dumb to say I was shipping them the entire time we were still dating?"
