hyejin was walking home listening to music. the weather was getting worse, she could see big clouds on the sky.

hyejin hates raining and the thunder. she's scared of it. she has her mom to protect her, she even sleeps with her if there's a storm going on outside.

when she reached her house she saw taehyun waving at her. she waved back, but the she went inside her house. her mom isn't home, so she ends up on the couch watching miraculous.

she likes this show, and she likes to watch it with cho. but she's alone now. she has a lots of homework, but she doesn't care at the moment.

she fell asleep but woke up immediately when she heard a big thunder. she was so scared, she was shaking, but she decided to call her mom.

"m-mom? can you come home? i-i'm scared." hyejin said waiting her mom to answer.

"yes sweetie, of course, just make sure to stay calm, cover yourself up with a blanket, i'm coming home." she said.

"thank you mom." hyejin said, then covered up herself with a blanket. why me? she thought.

after ten minutes hyejin heard a knock on her door. she jumped a little, but she knew it's her mom so she got up and went to the door and opened it.

her mom came inside, locked the door and engulfed hyejin into a big warm hug. these were the best hugs, and hyejin liked hugging her mom.

suddenly, she felt safe and calmed down. then they went inside and they sat down on the couch.

"do you want something sunshine?"
asked mina. "a cup of tea?"

"yeah, that would be great." hyejin said.

mina made her tea, and sat down next to her placing her hands on hyejin's shoulders. mina feels sorry for her daughter, but she loves her no matter what.

"mom?"

"yes sunshine?"

"who's coming over today?"

"oh, we can cancel that if you don't feel good!" mina said.

"no, we don't have to! are they coming here for dinner? what's the time?"

"yes i made kimchi and bulgogi, your favorite. it's five, you should start getting ready."

"okay."

hyejin went upstairs and changed into black jeans and she put on a blue top. she brushed her hair and let it fell on her shoulders. she looked into the mirror, looking at her body.

why do i look like this? i'm not skinny enough. i shouldn't eat much today. she thought, then sat down on her bed.

she unlocked her phone and opened her messages. she saw a unknown number. she opened it and read the message.

unknown:
hey, it's me, beomgyu

oh, it's beomgyu. okay, i should write back.

hyejin:
hi, beomgyu what's up

beomgyu:
nothing i just wanted to ask you if everything's okay? you seemed sad today.

did i really? ugh. i don't want others to worry about me.

hyejin:
yes, of course, i'm okay are you?

beomgyu:
yeah i'm fine

hyejin:
okay, see you tomorrow, i have to go we have guests

beomgyu:
okay bye, have fun

hyejin put away her phone as she heard the doorbell. she went downstairs and she couldn't believe her eyes. are you kidding me? she thought.

she saw taehyun swith his mom as they walked inside. where's his dad? hyejin decided to say hi to them.

"hello, i'm hyejin." she said then bowed to both of them.

"oh hi hyejin, my son told me about you. you seem very nice." taehyun's mom said.

hyejin smiled the all four of them went to the dining room and they sat down. mina and hyejin were sitting next to each other facing taehyun and his mom.
