they had history and hyejin was doodling something into her notebook. cho was watching vlive next to her, carefully, so that the teacher doesn't see it.

it was their last period before lunch break, but forty-five minutes seemed like an hour to hyejin.

"so, we are going to work in pairs for this project, i'll give you 2 weeks. we are going to write numbers inside a hat. that's how we're going to decide your pair." mrs. park said.

hyejin stopped doodling and looked around. everyone was grunting and sad noises came form every corner of the classroom.

hyejin let out a sigh as she wanted to be with cho, but it's literally luck who you get.

mrs. park wrote down the numbers and put them into the hat. everyone pulled out a number and some of the students already found their pair.

it was hyejin's turn, she took a deep breath and pulled out a number. she was so scared to look at it. but she had to.

four was her number. cho got the number seven and she already paired up with huening kai. cho looked at hyejin and gave her a thumbs up.

hyejin looked around and there was only one person who was looking around to find their pair. guess who? of course. beomgyu.

hyejin froze. she didn't know what to do. then she saw beomgyu walking towards her. she smiled back, but she felt her palms sweating. she felt like she's going to throw up. not because of beomgyu. because of her anxiety.

she hadn't feel like this in a long time so why now? when beomgyu is standing in front of her. she wants her anxiety to go away and never come back again.

"i guess you're my pair." said the black haired boy.

"mhm" all hyejin can let out as she feels the scathing feeling in her throat.

she sat down at her table and beomgyu sits down next to her. she can't look at him in the eye. she looks down at her feet.

she gulps so the bad feeling goes away. huh. i hope this won't happen again. they sit in silence while mrs. park is talking then the bell rang. finally.

"i think we should start working on the project as soon as possible."

"i can't today, i'm sorry." hyejin said as she remembers they have guests today.

"oh okay."

"but tomorrow is good for me." hyejin adds.

"okay. see you tomorrow then." said the boy then left the classroom.
