they were eating but hyejin just couldn't. she wasn't hungry. or she didn't want to be hungry.

she ate a little bit of the bulgogi because it's her favorite food, but that's it. she just wanted to go upstairs and sleep.

"um hyejin, i heard you are good at biology. you only have good grades." taehyun's mom said, and hyejin could see a strange expression on taehyun's face.

"i was just wondering if you could tutor taehyun? because he isn't good at it he could use your help." she said smiling.

hyejin didn't know what to say. she looked at her mom. mina smiled reassuringly at her daughter and squeezed her hand under the table.

"yes of course." hyejin answered taehyun's mom.

"great." she said with a smile.

when they finished eating, taehyun asked hyejin if they could talk. they went inside the living room.

"look, you don't have to tutor me."

"yeah i know that but your mom asked me so. and i'd like to help you." hyejin said.

"really? okay, thank you. when is it good for you?"

"well not tomorrow, because i have to work on that school project with beomgyu."

"okay then on friday?"

"okay." hyejin said smiling then they went back to the kitchen.

after taehyun and his mom left, hyejin helped her mom clean the table and the kitchen. she liked helping her mom because she knows she's tired.

"thank you for helping me." mina said.

"of course mommy! i love you." hyejin said then hugged her mom.

she went upstairs, showered, changed into her pajamas and went to bed. instead of sleeping she checked her social medias and her messages. she saw cho's name and then opened her text.

best girl cho:
hey can i come over? my grandma went on a weekend trip with her friend and i don't like being alone especially sleeping alone in the dark.

hyejin babie:
oh my god, of course you can!

best girl cho:
aaah thank you so much! see you

hyejin looked at her phone. she felt sorry for cho. cho was still scared of the dark especially when she's alone, because her mom and dad always left her alone at home even when she was little. and even when she was sleeping.

crap. i have to ask mom. she's going to say yes, but still. hyejin thought and went to her mom's room.

"mom, cho is coming over."

"okay sweetie when?" mina asked smiling.

"like....now."

"okay, just ask me if you need anything. there are pillows in the living room."

hyejin nodded then picked out a few pillows and threw them onto her bed. then she found a blanket in her closer so she put that on her bad too.

after five minutes she could hear the doorbell ringing. cho lived close, in the street next to hyejin's.

hyejin went downstairs, switched the light on then went to the door and unlocked it. it was raining outside and cho was wet from head to toe. she looked really scared and she was freezing.

"hey are you okay, come in!" hyejin said and when cho stepped in she closed the door. but then she heard a big thunder and fell onto the ground, crying.

"no, please don't cry. everything will be okay!" cho said.

she got on her knees and hugged hyejin tightly. cho always gave the best hugs, and hyejin was thankful she has a friend like her. they were literally sisters

they sat in silence on the floor, but then it got cold, so they went upstairs into hyejin's room. hyejin prepared a big t-shirt and some pajama pants for her friend and cho took a shower.

while the red haired girl was showering, hyejin turned on the lights in her room and made the bed. i hope she's not going to be scared here.
