How far Your Faith Will Go?

Chapter 4

     " Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

SEBBY's POV.

           It is dangerous to collide with the flow of traffic when we are driving. Some do it unknowingly, but others do it by accident. It is the same in our spiritual life. Intentionally or not, we all walk in opposition and away from God. And if we do not turn to God, we will end up in eternal separation.

  "Unfortunately, it is our sins that keep us away from the Lord ..." I began. "But because of Jesus Christ's love for us, he took human form here on earth, sacrificed on the cross and rose again on the third day. Because of his blood, we are cleansed from sin. He gave us a chance to live to be righteous, not to continue in sin. " I added.

     "Yung gusto ko lang sabihin sayo, ilapit mo yung kasalanan mo sa kanya. Huminga ka ng tawad dahil pakikinggan ka niya." I smiled.

     He took a deep breath before speaking, "I just have a question for you ... I see you as if you have no problem, as if the joy of your life. I wish my life was like that. But I don't know how ... “He said still bowed.

    "Come to God." He raised his head and looked at me, "I'm a sinner, I-I'm ashamed c-come to him ..."

    "Axel, lahat tayo makasasalanan. Pero subukan mo lang na lumapit sa kanya. Humingi ng tawad, ialay mo yung buhay mo sa kanya. Dahil sa kanya mo lang mararanasan yung totoong kasiyahan." Tugon ko.
    "Alam mo ba, may sinabi sa'kin si Kuya Sem-- yung Kuya kong Pastor... Sabi niya, Hindi sa lahat ng panahon masaya ka. May problema talagang darating sa buhay natin, pero kapag ipagkakatiwala lang natin ito sa Diyos, nandiyan siya palagi para tulungan tayo." Dugtong ko pa sabay ngiti ko.

     "Hindi aksidente na nasabi ko lahat 'to sayo. Gusto ng Diyos na malaman mo na lagi siyang nandiyan. Handa ka niyang tanggapin kung magbabalik loob ka lang sa kanya."

     "Seb, hindi ko alam kung sa'n ako magsisimula--"

    "Just let me help you. If you want to be close to Him, I will help you. I'm just asking your permission to take care of your spirituality. I'm not saying I'm the one who can change you, but I'm one of the part to help you get closer to Him. Remember, only our Lord can change man. "I replied.
   
     "So, ngayon. Ready ka bang ipagkatiwala ang spiritual mo? Nandito lang ako para tulungan ka sa bagay na'yan." I added.

   Medyo natagalan siya sa pagsagot na tila ba'y napaisip pa.

    He took a deeb breath and
said," Kung yan lang yung paraan para mawala yung sakit na nararamdaman ko... Cge."

      Every time we meet, I always shared Him with the gospel. Mabuti nalang na-extend yung pananatili namin dito sa bulacan.

    I always prayed for him, Axel would overcome all his problems. It is a big testimony, when Christ Jesus is the one who changed him. I always pray for his soul, that I hope his spirit eyes will be open. It is also one of the missions the Lord has given me.

   Kaya Lagi ko nang pinapa-remind sa kanya, kailangan niya lang i-confess lahat ng kasalanan at problema niya. Pero mas napapansin ko sa kanya na, nahihirapan siya sa forgiveness dahil sa galit niya sa tiyahin niya at sa kanyang Ina. Kaya sigurado ako na ito yung kinakapitan ng mga kaaway kaya't hindi makawala-wala si Axel dahil sa bagay na'yan.
