Several Autobots were surveying a city as they drove in disguise. Trailbreaker scanned with his energon detector as he drove with Hubcap, Arcee, Tracks and Sunstreaker. As they patrolled the streets, Mirage was cloaked and scanning the skies before he heard a familiar roaring engine. He gasped and lowered his audio receptors before calling the others, "Turn off your audio receptors! Thundercracker's gonna-!" The con rocketed in as every human and Autobot below screamed in pain and stopped moving but Mirage ran and tackled Thundercracker. The two crashed near the outskirts of the city. Mirage ran at him and punched the con before going invisible and attacking the con. The others drove to him as Thundercracker was about to fire at some humans. Mirage activated a hologram as it ran at Thundercracker. The con fired at the hologram before the real Mirage kicked him down. Tracks sped over and transformed as he tackled the huge con until Runamuck sped in and kicked the Autobot back and away. A few vehicons drove in and started fighting the other bots. Mirage shouted at the humans, "Go! Get outta here! NOW!" He jumped and kicked Thundercracker's face twice. A family were trying to get into their car as Thundercracker threw Mirage aside and aimed at the family. Mirage ran and dashed to them as he took the shot in the chest. He grunted and fired his missile at the Seeker as he fell in front of the family. Thundercracker fell down and held his chest as he screamed in pain. Tracks blasted a Vehicon as he kicked Runamuck back and away. Arcee blasted one's face before bodyslamming them and shot another one down. Trailbreak blasted one before he and Sunstreaker ran to Mirage, "Hey buddy! Talk to me!" Trailbreaker gently shook him as Thundercracker rose from the ground and grabbed a charging station for an electrical car. "See you later autobots..." Runamuck grabbed some more as they left in a spacebridge portal. Tracks growled as he called in Ratchet.
Mirage sat up in the infirmary of Autobot City as he grunted, "Mirage, you okay?" Optimus asked as Mirage nodded, "Yeah, but Thundercracker and Runamuck took some car chargers... More energon for the enemy..." Prime rubbed his chin as he nodded and turned to a com pad, "Wheeljack, call Jazz and Cliffjumper, tell them I need them to find where Megatron is. I need to know his plans..."
"Of course Prime, I gotcha." Wheeljack replied as he started calling the two bots. Prime walked back to Mirage, "Okay Mirage, stay here and heal up. We'll need every last soldier we have." Mirage nodded and shut down for healing.
