Shockwave's Wrath

Almost a year ago, the Autobots launched a full-scale assault against Cybertron and took the planet and it's moons from the Decepticons. But that came at a cost... Shockwave arrived on earth, it was vulnerable. He started destroying a small town in Canada. He slaughtered innocent people. Local law enforcement couldn't take him, the military didn't work either. A young girl named Verity ran and hid from the Decepticon. But it was futile. The con burned and destroyed the city. Verity gasped when he found her. She was barely 17. She just watched her family's home get burnt to a crisp and with it her family. Shockwave loaded his cannon and aimed at her head. Verity shook her head and begged for her life until Snarl, one of the Dinobots tackled Shockwave. The two blasted and punched at each other as Snarl rolled out of the way of his blasts and punched him. Shockwave stumbled back as Snarl rolled back to Verity and shot the con in the chest. Spike ran in with the other Wreckers on earth. Verity held on to Snarl as he looked at her, "It's okay kid, I got you, Shockwave won't hurt ya anymore little one. Where's your family?" Verity pointed at the burnt house. Snarl gasped slightly and hung his head, "Stick close to me okay?" Verity nodded and held on to him as he opened his chest, "Sit still and towards the back." She crawled to the back and avoided his spark as Snarl grabbed a large lamppost and walked straight to Shockwave. Hot Rod grabbed his gun arm and aimed it into the sky as the Mad Doctor fired. The bot jumped away as Snarl whacked Shockwave in the face with the lamppost. Verity heard the doctor's grunts and the clanging of metal as Snarl picked him up over his head and slammed him into the ground. Shockwave rolled and flew up into space as Hot Rod activated his goggles and fired at the con, "Get wrecked Shlock Wave!" He shouted as Snarl gently held Verity and nodded at her, "We'll protect you my friend. What's your name?" She wiped her tears and looked up at the Dinobot, "Verity. Verity Carlo." Snarl nodded as he walked to an Ark nearby as Hot Rod, Springer and Bumblebee walked with them. "I will protect you, friend Verity. I will be your friend."

A year later, Verity fought some practice drones in her armor as Snarl watched with Hoist. "She's doin' great, sir." Snarl nodded and watched her moves and strength. Verity jumped and kneed a droid, punched another and finally body slammed one more. A bigger droid stood up as she jumped and ran up it's arm before dashing to the back. Verity crawled up and tore it's head off. Snarl nodded at Hoist, "End the simulation." Hoist nodded, "You know the way out. I best be off, Whirl expects me." Snarl nodded as he walked down to where Verity was, he smiled and rubbed her head, "Nice job kiddo. Best record yet." She giggled as the two walked off to a spacebridge, "Ready for Hawaii?" Snarl asked as Verity winked and smiled, "Hell yeah!" Snarl picked her up and nodded, "Let's roll!" He ran through the portal as the two giggled.

Meanwhile, on the Decepticon HQ, Shockwave nodded and turned to a comlink to Megatron, "Lord Megatron, Shockblast is on route to our base." Megatron nodded, "Tell Soundwave to open the bridge for my return."
