Inner Conflicts

The Ark was under repairs as were many of the Autobots. Side-Burn sped up out of the woods with Carly and Spike as the two humans ran inside. The Autobot transformed right away as he ran with the two humans. Ratchet ran past them as Kicker dragged a soldier inside the human medical center, "First-Aid! I got another one here! Where's Dr. Kix!" Ironhide carried Hubcap as Rollbar ran towards the Autobot Medical wing with a medkit, "Hang on Streetwise! I got some gear to help!"
"Hurry! Silverbolt's leaked too much Energon!" He shouted as Elita-1 ran with Optimus back to the Human Center with Dr. Kix, "I'm here! I'm gonna help some of the others! Optimus sir, get him hooked up to Human Life Support." Optimus set Buster in a bed as Charlie ran to the side, "I'm gonna need help!"
"Grab those cables and hook them into his blood tracks!" Prime knelt down as Spike ran over to help, "Buster! NO!" He took the life support wires and tubes, putting them into Buster's veins. Carly ran over as Elita-1 knelt down. Kix ran over and charged up a defibrillator, trying to resuscitate Buster. Spike backed up and started visibly shaking as Buster woke up and covered his ears, "SON OF A BITCH! AGH! My mc'fricken ears! Ow! Damn Sound-Freak..." He got off the bed and got his shirt back on, "Okay, Doc. Someone else can use the bed. Spike we need to-" His brother hugged him as Buster nodded and hugged him back, "C'mon. Time to play hero." Kicker ran in and gave them armor plates to wear, "We got some work to do!" The three boys and Charlie ran out as she bumped into Wheeljack, "Oh! Sorry lil' fella! Wait.. You know how to fix things right?" Charlie got up and held a wrench as Wheeljack nodded, "Follow me, we need to fix Teletraan 1, our comms are all down!" She nodded and ran with the scientist as Optimus walked outside and sighed. "Optimus?" Grimlock walked over as Elita held Prime's hand, "We've lost so much today... Teletraan... Much of our history... and now outer communications..." Prowl flew in as he landed half of the wreckers' ship. He ran out and towards Prime, "Optimus what happened!?" Prime looked at him, Megatron attacked us and destroyed Teletraan 1..." Prowl shook his head, Not while I got the Trion Files!" He ran inside as Optimus blinked and chuckled, "Thank Primus for Autobots who read everything daily..." Elita nodded, "Prime, if you need rest or just want to save these bots, I'll take command for a few days. I'll even have Grimlock as my First Officer. 

A few hours later, Prime sat in one of the towers of Autobot City. The humans walked in as Buster walked to Optimus, "You okay sir?" Prime sighed and looked out the window, "No. I cannot say that I am. Too many Autobots and Humans injured... And we almost lost you, Buster." The young man giggled, "I'm fine sir. But yeah... Too many lost... And what did they take from Teletraan?"
"Well, you're asking the right question there Buster, Charlie and I got Teletraan to work for a few seconds. Long enough for me to get the files that Soundwave copied." Wheeljack walked in and held a tablet as Charlie sat on his shoulder. Charlie looked at the ground as Wheeljack typed on the tablet. Buster walked over, "C'mon, I'll catch you Charlie." Charlie jumped as Buster caught her bridal style, "Oh well you must've just fallen from heaven." The two laughed as Buster set her down. Ironhide and Kicker walked in as Kicker sat on a couch after getting some food. Wheeljack's optics widened as Prime walked over, "What is it old friend?" Prime looked at the tablet as Wheeljack handed it to him, shaking. Prime's optics widened as he started shaking, "Whatcha got ther fellas? Ya'll look like ya seen a ghost er somethin'." Ironhide walked over as Prime projected a hologram, showing the specific Autobot Elite and the humans... Including where they live... Carly shook her head, "No... Nononononononono!" Spike called his dad, "Dad! You gotta get outta the house for a while! Go to some place safe, pack the truck and leave right away!"
"Just do it dad!" Buster shouted as Kicker got on his helmet and started running, "Ironhide! We gotta get my family! C'mon!" Ironhide had a look of dread before shaking it off and running with Kicker. Charlie backed up as Carly fell down to the ground as Spike ran to her, "Carly, hey, it's okay, I called your parents too. It'll be okay." Carly stood up and walked away, "No Spike! It's not! Megatron and the Decepticons will find us or they'll try to find us by killing our parents! Spike this war has ruined our lives! I don't care that we have Autobot friends, we can't live normally anymore! At any moment Megatron could blow this whole planet to ash and we'd be dead! Spike, I live in constant fear that our next date will be our last, our next day will be our last, OUR LAST DAY WILL BE OUR LAST!" Buster sighed and looked at her as Spike hung his head and nodded, "I know but-"
"No, you don't! You clearly don't! We need to leave the Autobots behind!" She shouted before Spike scoffed and shouted back, "If we leave now, Megatron will use us for his plan for sure! Think about it, we're close to the Autobots! What happens to us when we leave? Megatron will take us and lure Optimus for whatever he's got!"
"Yeah, the Matrix is needed for Dark Cybertron." Buster played on his phone as everyone looked at him, "How did you know that?" Prime asked as Buster pointed at the large book on Optimus' table, "I've read the Covenant of Primus. Dark Cybertron sounded like the Mirror Mirror episode of Star Trek but it's worse than that. The Matrix and a Prime's death is to be used to summon something. The Page was missing." Prime sighed, "Alright, we're going to help your families. Stay here okay?" Optimus left as Carly turned to Spike, "I don't wanna be apart of this anymore... This war doesn't need us. I don't care if I get captured, I just want this to be over..." Carly walked to another part of the room away from the others as Buster put on the TV and watched Star Trek DS9. Spike walked away as Charlie looked at the two and then looked at Buster, "Sooo how are you involved?" She asked as Buster turned to her, "Hm? Oh I saw one of the bots sneak off and I followed him to Autobot City." Charlie giggled, "Small universe..." Buster chuckled, "How about you?" She shrugged, "Saw Bumblebee, almost got killed by a seeker, and then Bee saved me and now we're best friends." Buster smiled and shook his head, "That's crazy..." She nodded and smiled. Charlie looked at Carly as she rose a brow, "They uh... Been in this fight longer than us, haven't they?" Buster sighed, "Yup. I got involved like a month ago." She nodded, "You still wanna be in this fight?" He shrugged, "Obviously. Optimus is my best friend and I gotta help him. What about you?" She looked out the window, "Bee's my best friend. So I wanna be there for him too." Buster smiled and stood up. He looked at Charlie's jacket and smirked, "You'll need this." He reached into his pocket and gave her an Autobot badge, "Welcome to the Winning team..." Charlie held it and smiled, "Bee's gonna love this!" Buster giggled and nodded as he looked out the window, "Guess we're stuck here for a bit... This oughta be fun..." Charlie sighed as Buster shrugged, "No safer place though. Autobot's patrol this city every minute of the day." Charlie nodded as she sighed happily, "We got the best job in the galaxy..." The door opened as Grimlock walked in with Optimus, "We're gonna be at Teletraan 1 for a while, you are all welcomed to come with us." Buster walked over and started trying to climb up Optimus' leg before the leader held him in his hand. Buster sat on Prime's shoulder as Charlie got picked up by Grimlock. Spike stayed behind with Carly.

Elita saw Prime and Grimlock, "Hey Optimus." Optimus walked over to her and sighed happily, "Hello Elita." She dusted his chest off and smiled softly, "Where's the couple humans?" She asked as Prime nodded, "They're in our quarters." Elita nodded, "I'll talk with them in a bit. Humans just need time to heal." She smiled as Prime nodded and held her hand, the three bots continuing to walk. They soon got back to Teletraan 1 as Prowl was plugged into the computer and Wheeljack was almost done. "We're almost back online Optimus sir!" Charlie walked over after Grimlock set her down. Prowl stood up, "No word from the Wreckers for a while though... I'm getting worried sir." Just as Teletraan got repaired, it got Goldbug's message about Velocitron. Prowl, Optimus, Grimlock, and the others ran towards Sky-Lynx. Prime turned to Elita as Charlie and Buster ran with them, "Elita! You're in charge of the Autobots until we all return! Take care my love!"
"Be safe Optimus!" She shouted as Sky-Lynx left the planet. Elita looked down at the two humans as she knelt down to them, "What shall we do now, humans?" Buster shrugged as Charlie looked Elita, "Is Bee okay?" Elita sighed, "I do not know, Charlie Watson... But we can only hope he and the other Wreckers will be safe and Optimus will save them." Buster scoffed, "I feel bad for the Decepticons. Prime brought every last Wrecker and Dinobot in the galaxy with him." Elita chuckled, "You are very knowledgeable of the Autobots, Buster Witwickey. Can you help us with Teletraan 1?" Buster smirked, "I'll need my trusted friends and scientists: Charlie Watson and Charles "Chip" Chase." Elita nodded and transformed into her car mode as the two got in, "I miss ol' Chipster." Elita drove off to find the guy.
