"On your marks..."

Via was ready, her foot at the starting line, preparing her next steps carefully. The cold breeze was softly blowing her hair back, but she knew what to expect in a few more seconds.

"...Get set..."

The other racers were just like her, bracing themselves in preparation with their feet on the line, although their faces contained far more nervousness than hers. Via wasn't nervous. The harsh wind was what she feared the most, for she had no problem in winning.

She made sure she always won.

"...Go!!!"

She took off slightly behind the other, but she knew that it wouldn't take much time for her to catch up. A sprint was too easy for her. As she sprinted, she made time go by faster for herself, the time where she would cross the finish line coming way quicker than it should have came. Manipulating time to take her ahead of the other runners, just by a little step, was enough. Seconds made all the difference in the sprint.

The others would be mad at her surely, for winning again, but she was just unbeatable. What could anyone do when time was working in her favour.

People couldn't understand her, but they saw nothing false in her wins. She just was good. And she would keep on winning, throughout the years she remained in the school, participating for sprint on sports day.

Jack, Katie and Yuyu were watching the race from the audience seats, cheering her on and watching her win with no surprise. They were the only three that knew the truth; everyone else was just impressed at first, but it became the expectation soon after. Via wasn't going to let her reputation slip. She would win again and again and again.

Although Katie didn't approve of Via using her powers to her advantage, she kept it a secret, just like Yuyu and Jack. It wasn't up to her to expose her sister anyway. She didn't want anyone to get into trouble.

And Via received another medal - another one, among the other five she had in her collection at home. Each one representing a new year of sports day. This would be her last. It was the best one.
