"Where is Roxy?" Lily asked, standing next to Colt in Rhona and Romano's bedroom of Roxy's house.

"Sleeping probably," Rhona shrugged. "Let's try not to wake her up."

"So what happened to you two?" Colt asked. "Why did Roxy adopt you? Not that she shouldn't have because now you've brought me and Lily back, but... why? She doesn't seem like the type who would want children. Does she even have a boyfriend?"

"No," Romano said. "That's why she wanted to adopt us, because she won't have any children. And she wanted to help us out because our parents were dead."

"That's kind of her," said Lily, "but I still don't understand. You two aren't the only children without parents who are suffering, so why you two in particular? Did she know about your powers?"

"No," Romano said, and looked at Rhona, who also face-palmed herself. "Really do you not recognise us at all? You don't know why she would have chosen us?"

"No," answered Colt, looking at Lily. "Why would we?"

"You both died before we were born. Well, similar timing," Rhona said. "You've been dead for as many years as our age. Any guesses now?"

Colt looked carefully at Romano. "The boy looks like me... whoa...!"

"Wait...!" Lily exclaimed. "Are you... my kids?!"

Rhona and Romano laughed. "Took you long enough to figure it out!" Rhona said.

Lily laughed. "Colt can never figure anything out, though!"

"Wow!" Colt replied. "That isn't true."

Lily raised an eyebrow. "Are you really sure about that?" She immediately pulled Rhona and Romano into a hug, and Colt joined in too. "Ah, I'm so glad I have my kids back, and -" She stopped herself, mid-sentence, and frowned. "- Roxy won't mind, will she?"

Romano doubled over in laughter. "She hates us!"

Colt smiled. "I'm sure she doesn't."

"She made us eat salad for dinner," Rhona complained. "Bleurgh!"

"Salad is good for you!" Lily cried. "You need a balanced diet! I hope you haven't been giving her a hard time!"

"She's annoying. She's a Mummy Trottel."

Lily raised an eyebrow. "A what?"

"Who taught you that?" Colt asked.

"You," Romano snickered. "You're German so we learnt German. We learnt Trottel, and that matches Roxy."

"You shouldn't be saying that about Roxy, she's -"

"- A Mummy Trottel," Rhona laughed.

"I feel so bad for Roxy," Lily said quietly. "I wish... I wish we never left... I... I'm sorry," Lily told them and Colt nodded too. "I wish..." She looked at Colt, "I wish we had a proper family, and could've raised you back from when you were born... I... well, we can't go back in time."

"Maybe you shouldn't have killed yourselves," Romano said bluntly.

"Yes," Colt said. "People make bad choices, and some are irreversible. We can never have another chance to take care of you." He lowered his voice. "I wonder, do you know anyone called Lexi around here?"

Lily seethed at the name. "She moved out," Rhona answered. "She had a kid called Jones who is apparently our half-brother and is also the cause of us losing our parents, so... yeah. He's also dead."

"What?!" Colt spluttered. "How did he die?!"

"He got strangled."

Lily smirked. "Perhaps Colt strangled him when Colt was sleep-walking."
