I ask Ariana out

Leo P.O.V

I would never wash my hands again. Any girl who would impress me more than Calypso would definitely be Ariana. I mean she's so kind, smart, loyal and funny. she reminds him of a mix between Annabeth, Percy, Piper and Myself. Her blue eyes were as starling as Jason's and I've seen her musical skills. Which was really impressive. While I was thinking about all that I heard someone say:

"So you like her?" Piper asked.

"Uh...." My nose lit on fire. I forced it to go away but Piper saw it.

"Oh so you do.... you know you're in luck. She likes you too.."

"What!! YES!!!!!"

"I asked her if I can play match maker... And she said yes!"

"Pipes, you're the best!"

She went back to her room and I started packing. After I did. I asked Jo for any kind of fresh flowers and she gave me some Lily's and I went to meet Ariana. As I came to her door I breathed heavily. "ok... you can do this... you can do this" I thought and knocked on the door.

"Uh... Ariana! Got a sec?"

She opened the door.

"Yeah?"

"You ready to go?"

"Yeah in a minute..."

"Uh.. I got something to ask you.. after this quest... if we survive... will you... consider g-going o-out w-with m-m-me?" I gave her the lily's and closed my eyes and waited for an answer.

"Only if you'd tell me if you want to go out with me" she said

"That meaning?..."

"Yes, Leo. I would love to go out with you!" Then she pecked my cheek, took the flowers and went out with her backpack. I was standing there like an idiot. The rational part of my brain said "What are you doing you big Idiot!" but the Irrational side screamed "Who cares she just kissed your cheek!!"

I went back to my room and jumped up and down. Like a hyperactive ADHD kid. I got my stuff and went out of my room to meet Piper.

"She said YES! She said YES! She said YES! Thanks soooo much Pipes!"

"Aww that's so sweet. I'd do anything for you Leo."

"Why, Thank you"

We went to meet Jo to say goodbye. Where I found Ariana talking with her.

"What ya talking about?" I asked.

"Oh, I was just asking Jo whether she knew any flaws of Hyperion or something... apparently he's really proud of himself. we could use it against him. Thanks for the info Jo"

"Anytime" Jo said. "Here I have some food and water, some nectar and ambrosia, some clothes which I think might fit Your'll and some first aid supplies if Your'll need any healing just in case"

"Thanks Jo"

"Ah, no problem. that's what we do here in the waystation after all we protect demigods and when they decide to leave we give them some stuff like these. Ooh I got something else I forgot to get. hold on, give me a sec" she said and went out of the dining room. we sat there in awkward silence. after about 2 minutes she came back with a small triangular handkerchief.

"About a week ago this hunter came. I helped him for he was badly wounded. After I healed him all I can and thanked me. so she gave me this. Stand back" we did as she told us and then she said "Actaeon" Then the handkerchief unfolded and turned into a tent.

"It's a air conditioned tent! I'd say about 4 people can sleep inside"

"it even has a buffet table and sleeping bags" jo said with a tiny sparkle in her eyes.

"Fascinating mechanism I wonder how they make it...."I started wondering

"Thanks Jo" All of us got ready to go. We each called our Pegasus.

"Yo! Blaze"

Blaze came out of the clounds with beauty but without Austin.

"Where's Austin?" I asked

"I don't know.... Austin!" She shouted.

Nothing happened.

"Maybe he's just flying around...." She sounded like she was trying to convince herself.

"Maybe we could give you a ride till we find him but beauty can only carry on at a time. Maybe you could ride with Leo" Piper said slightly grinning at that last part. If I could talk to Piper in my mind I would have been like "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

Ariana just said "Ok then"

I climbed Blaze and offered her my hand. and Ariana playfully acted along doing a fake courtesy saying,

"Oh please Prince Charming! take me with you!!"

We laughed and she took my hand and climbed into Blaze and we flew straight towards St. Louis.
