The next morning, I awoke to the smell of food being cooked. I sat up and walked out to the kitchen to find Mark hustling around, making food. Eggs, waffles, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, sausage and bacon.

"I didn't know what you liked, so I made everything." He said sheepishly.

"This is...." But I was at a loss for words. It was amazing. We sat down at the table and ate our breakfast, not really talking, just enjoying each other's company.

"Hey, Mark. I was thinking."

"That's dangerous." He teased.

"Haha, screw you."

"That's the plan." This made me blush.

"Anyways.... I feel like it'd be a good idea for us to meet my parents before I went and moved to L.A with you, you know?"

Mark facepalmed. "I'm such an idiot. Why didn't I think of that?"

"I can call them and see if we can get together later? And then we start packing up my stuff this week and move out this weekend?" I proposed.

"Okay, sounds good." He said, nodding. "I can get Wade out here if you'd like? Or maybe Jack?"

"I thought you were 'so strong' and 'too pro' to need help." It was my turn to tease.

"Yeah, well, I gotta be nice, you know? I gotta let them at least think I need help." He replied.

"It's fine, call whoever you think we need. I bet I can get my dad to help out as well." I said, getting up and walking back to my room where my phone was. I dialed the number for my mom.

"Hello? Sarah? Is everything alright?" She asked.

"Hey, Mom. Everything is great. I was wondering if it'd be okay for us to get together for lunch or dinner later. There's someone I'd like for you to meet."

"You've met someone? Why didn't you tell us sooner?"

"We were nervous." Was the only thing I could say. It wasn't a total lie.

"Your dad gets off at five, let's meet for dinner at seven. Is Red Lobster fine?"

"Perfect. See you then."

"See you then. I love you."

"I love you, too, Mom." Click.

I walked back to the living room where Mark was still on the phone. I gave him a thumbs up and he beamed.

"All right, Wade. I understand. I'll see you soon, okay? You, me and Bob need to play drunk Minecraft again. It's been far too long."

"..."

"Okay, see ya." Mark hung up. "Wade is a no but Jack said he would love to help out. He said he'd come in on Wednesday."

"Awesome." I replied. "We meet my parents at Red Lobster at seven."

"Great! I love Red Lobster."

**************

The day consisted of video games and Mark making a video for his fans, explaining that there was going to be a shortness of videos that week.

"Don't you make YouTube videos?" Mark said to me once he had finished with his video. "I thought I saw you posting videos on Tumblr or something."

"Yeah, I haven't done one in a few days because I told them how busy I was making my costume." I said.

"You should make one."

"Saying what?"

"Anything you want. It's your channel."

I looked at him for a moment, but shook my head. "No one wants to see that. I barely even have like twenty subscribers."

"Please, for me." He gave me a pouty look.

"Damn you for being cute as hell." I said, opening my laptop. I opened a new window and went to YouTube. I took a sip of my coffee as I went to my page, and nearly spat out my drink as I saw over five hundred new subscribers, and counting.

"Mark! Look at this."

He looked over and went wife-eyed. "Is this for real?"

I nodded and refreshed the page. Over six hundred.

"Make a video!" He exclaimed.

"Okay!" I opened my video recorder on my laptop but just sat there staring. "What do I do?"

"Say thank you, talk about the con, anything!"

I sat there for another moment. Then I pulled up a video on YouTube.

I hit record and started playing and singing Perfect by Pink. I finished and motioned for Mark to scoot over, which he did.

"Hey, guys. That little tidbit was in celebration of the new subscribers we have joining us. Which is now..." I looked. "Over a thousand." I then began to talk about MetroCon and how Mark had actually come down. I noticed I was getting really close to the ten minute mark and decided to start bringing it to a close.

"I want to just give a special thanks to Mark here for being my inspiration to have my blog and make this channel. You are my hero." I said the last line looking at him, but then turned back to my laptop. "Remember, if your are struggling with anything, do not hesitate to put something in the comments or send me something in my askbox on Tumblr."

"And as always, I will see you in the next video." Mark started.

"Stay beautiful!" I said.

"Bye-bye!" We said together and waved until I stopped recording.
