I had put a post out on Tumblr a few days before on how I would be at MetroCon and jokingly asked Mark if he would come down so that his Florida fans could say hi.

I didn't actually expect him to come down.

I walked up to him nervously. My legs were shaking.

"Mark?" I asked timidly.

"That's my name." He replied with a grin. "Are you 'markiplier is our hero'?"

I nodded my head, unable to speak. He had just said my Tumblr URL.

He smiled, put down his bag and pulled me in for a giant hug. I wrapped my arms around his torso and buried my face in his chest, feeling the tears spilling out.

"I can't believe this..." I said, voice cracking, as we broke apart. "I can't believe you actually came down! I-" I was at a loss for words, a few tears still falling down my face.

"Hey, now. Don't cry." He said, reaching up and wiping my tears away. "I know how hard you've been working on that blog of yours. And I know how hard its been. I wanted to tell you that you have become my hero."

I almost fainted.

"Can we take a walk and chat?" He asked, picking up his bag and offering his arm.

"Sure." I said shyly. I nervously took his arm as he led the way around the con.

"I love your idea for the blog. Wanting to be there for all the other Markiplites." He wore a proud smile. "It's inspiring. I wish I could be there for all of you all but it makes me happy that there are people like you out there."

"It all came from you really." I replied with a blush. We had found ourselves outside. It was weird how quickly the day had passed. The cool summer's night wind nipped at us as we walked around towards the nearby park.

"How so?" Mark asked me, eyebrow cocked.

"Well, I don't know if you saw on one of my other blogs, but I went through some extremely traumatizing experiences."

"I might have but then again, there is so much in the tag that its impossible to read all of it....I'd love to hear it in person."
