For Ashton's twenty-first birthday, Luke stayed at his hotel. He'd actually swiped his card before he'd left that morning, so there was no way ashton could get in, because Luke took birthdays seriously. Ashton's was no exception. Three weeks of dating or not.

Luke set up red and yellow and blue balloons. He had been taking photos with a film camera and had them developed so he could tie them to the balloons. He didn't know Ashton's family, but he figured he could at least make his Brightwitch accommodations feel like home for an afternoon.

And when Ashton arrived, he looked exhausted, and taken aback at Luke being in his room. "So you're the reason I had to get a new key, huh?" He purred, taking in the balloons all over the floor and red and yellow roses all over.

Luke just giggled and sat there all pretty on the bed. Ashton had actually caught him putting candles on the mini cake. "You weren't supposed to be here for five more minutes."

"I took the stairs, sweetheart," Ashton smirked and kissed his forehead, looking around. "This looks pretty nice. All of this for just me?"

"Yes of course!" Luke cooed. "Here, I'll light the candles for you. But no birthday singing cause that's so awkward."

Ashton smiled. His dimples looked more pronounced and his face was lit up in the prettiest smile Luke had ever seen on his new lover. "Oh Luke, you didn't have to do all of this."

"Yes I did!" Luke gasped, almost offended. "Of course I did. You're my boyfriend now. I need to take care of you. Especially since I'm the only one of the four people on this planet who you can trust that can make your birthday special..."

Luke gave him the pouty lips. He looked so cute there with his little gold party hat sitting atop his bleached curls. He looked messy and beautiful. He wore his summeriest shirt and even some makeup. If he wasn't Ashton's dream he was finding a new boyfriend.

Ashton encircled Luke into his arms and kissed him slow and soft. "Thank you..." Ashton purred against his lips.

"You're welcome," Luke hiccuped, hugging Ashton's shoulders close. He was weightless. Effortless. Nothing in the world compared to how he felt in Ashton's arms.

"Tell you what," Ashton purred moving his kiss-talking up Luke's jaw and down his neck. Each kiss sending a jolt down his spine. "You let me shower, wash this day off of me, and I'll come back and let you pamper me with the birthday treatment. Sound good, angel cake?"

Luke could have melted into a puddle on the ground. He whimpered feeling weak. "Yeah..." he gushed.

Ashton pulled away much faster than Luke would have liked. If he had it his way Ashton would never ever let go of him. Ashton would toss him on the bed and push his hands into the mattress...

Luke had had a long time to think about what he wanted from Ashton now.

Ashton pulled away though and grabbed some clothes. "I'll be back in a few. I wanna unwrap my gifts." He purred, nodding to the pile in the corner, but Luke got the feeling he meant something else. Someone perhaps.

Luke had worn the panties. And he'd convinced himself they weren't a bad omen. He'd just had a lot of negative memories tied to them. But he was gonna get use out of the cute soft cotton, goddamnit.

He wanted Ashton's opinion. He wanted to see his reaction to them. Cause Luke thought he looked hot in them, but he was desperate for the attention of his boyfriend. Especially since they'd had a couple rounds of heavy petting the past few days. Luke was desperate to get off.

Ashton cut the water to the shower off in less than two minutes, and Luke barely had time to prepare. He was in the process of lighting the candles when the door opened. Steam poured out of the room, and Ashton came in in just his boxers, in the middle of putting on a t-shirt.
