"Aren't you hot, all in black?"
You took your eyes off your plate. They're all chewing watching you scream silently with hunger.
You were concentrating for long minutes so as not to throw up in your salad and potato dish.
You finally laid your eyes on the bitch who had bothered you. Definitely, she was not at all the sister-in-law you dreamed of.
"No." you answered the brown-haired woman who gave her milk to her baby. The baby girl never took her eyes off you. These huge black balls seemed to want to see under this veil that hid your cold and pale face. And she wasn't the only one. You noticed your father's smile, to which you responded weakly.
If only he knew ...
He has never dared to ask you questions since your return. Although you did act, it was clear that your family and that of your sister-in-law were uncomfortable around you. You wondered if it was that aura that stank of death or if it was just your new black widow dress style.
"Rania seems very curious anyway. Maybe she's looking to see who's under that veil?" Arya wondered.
You tensed when she forced the subject.
"She's seen it before.""Oh! Yes I remember! When she cried!" she exclaimed, touching the cheeks of the little being in her arms.
You firmly held your glass of wine previously filled with the fresh red blood cell that you had stolen before. If only you could use your laser eyes to cut her tongue out ...
"She looks like you very much." your brother said. "You can come see her more often, if you want!"
"I would like a lot." is all you answer by sending your prettiest and provoking smile to Arya. You stood up and walked over to her, holding out your hands, signaling Rania to come into your arms. She responded positively to your request.
When you took her in your arms, you noticed her mother's shivers run down her bare shoulders.
"Too cute! You definitely have the features of a Raki! Especially when you smile!" You cried childishly at the baby who kept smiling at you.
Guess she finally accepted your now total demonic presence ...A servant knocked on the dining room door, looking at you, you finally received the signal without even having to wait for him to speak.
You kissed Rania's cheek hoping that your new friends found a solution for her to lift Dio's curse."I've always hated babies until then. I hope to see you enjoy your life, in the afterlife..." you whispered to her as you walked around the big table to give Rania to her father, ignoring her mother's desperately outstretched arms. You took the opportunity to slip a gift box to Robin. "Here, the birth gift!" you whispered loudly to him, kissing his daughter one last time.
"Madam Raki, someone is asking for you downstairs."
You dressed your hands in your black gloves and said your goodbyes, avoiding any suspicion of never seeing them again. It was not a bad idea to hide all your body and face because you felt a painful spike in your heart at this moment, but you knew what you did to them. You have to solve this problem before embrace death.
You saw your tall brunette friend with long hair in the carriage. He looked disinterested in everything, as usual, locked in his thoughts, as usual.
He uncrossed his legs and rubbed his hands gently when you signaled your presence by slamming the door."You are late." You said to him by feigning anger.
"Hello Y/N. Thanks I'm fine. Glad you asked. Now let me ask you to save me from your horrible mood on the trip."
