☾''Fuck, they didn't say it'll rain today.'' sighing in annoyance, he looked around, trying to find a way to reach the car without getting wet, his eyes widening in surprise once she abruptly pulled him from the cinema, into the cold rain. Letting go of his hand, she looked back at him, a mischievous smile spreading on her lips, ''catch me if you can!'' he didn't process her words at first, until his body started moving against his will, chasing her down through the empty parking lot, around the nearest park, until he finally grabbed her wrist, right when she was about to turn around the corner and keep on running.
They were both wet because of the rain, her baby hairs stuck on her forehead when she looked up at him with those eyes that mesmerised him from the first time. They were startled when classical music started playing, only to realise that they were close to the national theatre; she smiled again, and he couldn't help but smile too.
Wrapping her arms around his neck as he pulled her closer to his body, they danced to the rhythm, for minutes, until the music stopped playing, hard, cold, raindrops hitting their hot skin. Can I kiss you?''
She shyly nodded before he gently cupped her chin, tilting her head to the side, a sudden wave of electricity rushing down their spines once their lips connected. Nothing mattered anymore; it was just the two of them, in their own world, feeling the same way about each other.
An electric kiss in the summer rain that made the butterflies in her stomach erupt like an active volcano.
