A Neonatal surgeon to be specific. she works at a private practice in LA. They moved a while ago when Addison cheated on her husband, derek shepred with his best friend. mark Alex was not very forgiving of addison. For obvious reasons 1. cheating on her step dad and 2. pulling her away from her best friends
"Alex! hurry up before you make us both late!" my mom yells
"Calm down mom im coming" i say jumping out of bed
"Alex cooper montgomry did you just wake up?!!" she yells
"No!" i yell back
"just get out of the house and get to the school. Now!" she scolds
"im going im going" i reply leaving the house
God she gets on my nerves sometimes
I put my hoodie up as i walk into the school and put my head down all the way to class. people stare at me because they know who my mother is but i dont care
Half way to class someone pulls my arm and as i start to scream they put there hand over my mouth
"Its me, cooper!" cooper whisper yells
"oh" i say relived
"you really thought i was a kidnapper"cooper laughs at me
"shut up" i say back
"never" he smirks
"anyways what are you doing here shouldnt you be at work. ya know saving lives and all" i suggest
"I am but its the last friday of the school year so you are gonna come to work with me instead of school" he smiles
"yessss i didnt want to stay in this fucking hell hole one more day" i laugh
"language young man" he jokes
"im not that young"
"ur barley a teenager now get in the car kiddo"
we both get in the car and go to the hospital
In the car
"soooooooo"cooper says
"what" i say annoyed by his voice
"dang never mind mr angry pants" he replys
"shut u-" i get cut off
we hear a loud horn and look to the side to see a truck coming at us and before we know it the truck crashes into us, putting our car mid air before the car hits the road on its side
"Alex??" cooper yells but theres no response
"alex!?" he yells again turning around to see alex uncounsius and bleeding from his head badly
"Nononono" cooper yells taking off his seat belt and climbing into the back seat where alex is
"Alex! alex please wake up please i need you alive"he crys dialing 911
Cooper unbuckles alexs seatbelt opening the door and carrying alex out to the side of the emty road, using his knee as a pillow for alex ignoring the cuts and bruises on himself and applying pressure to the wound
"911 whats ur emergency"
"h-hi i am on sunrise highway and ive gotten into a bit of a crash, i have a kid with me uncounsius and unresponsive and has a thready pulse, bleading from the head rapidly" cooper says trying not to sound scared
"Okay an ambulance is on its way whats ur name sir"
"cooper, cooper freedman and the kid is Alex Montgomery" cooper reply's
"Okay and ages?"
"Alex is 15 and i am 38"
"Okay help will be there soon. stay on the line" but at that moment the wifi cuts out causing the call to fail
"damm it" cooper crys
"dont worry. ur gonna be okay kid"
An ambulance arives and gets alex on a stretcher
cooper calls addison and after what feels like an enternity of ringing she answers "coop? whats up"
"you need to meet us at the hospital" cooper says
"What why, us? who else is with you?!"
"alex.... and hes in bad shape" cooper whispers
"What?!"addie yells
"Just come to the hospital addison! hes bleeding out from the head, thready pulse, unresponsive" cooper explains alexs injury's
"im on my way" addison says trying not to cry
