Alex's POV
"What?! Bea! The hotel security here is so tight. You cant be tagging" i say
"Better then jumping" she snaps back
"Listen Alex, i forgive you, just promise me if you cut you'll tell me, and need to eat al"
"Deal." I sigh
"Ur my brother. I care for you and i love you so trust me when i say i am here
For you, whenever you need me" she reminds me

But there's so much she doesn't know about me. The medical problems I've had growing up. Along with things i experienced through my childhood... I'm her brother, but that doesn't change how little she knows

Tell her. Tell her. whats wrong with me. I cant even be a good brother and tell her one big thing about me. What kinda person am i.

"Beatrice ... if were going to not keep secrets anymore theres more i need to tell you"

"Like what? Are you okay..?" She worrys

"Well for now i am. When i was around 7 i was with mom and cooper. And we went to the fair one night. Since it was dark the whole place had been light up with the flashing lights on the all the rides and everyone had fun. But it was different for me.

As you probably know flashing lights can trigger seizures and i was staring at the lights. And thats all I remember until i woke up in the hospital. Addison explained to me that i had a seizure. The doctors did tests and found out i had severe epilepsy. After that day she refused to bring me outside. Not school not the backyard nothing it was like a prison. I wasn't  allowed a phone or friends or to open a window. I couldn't watch tv. All i had was myself and my books. So i read and read till i ram out of books and id read them over and over again until when i was 15 last year she finally let me go to school and have a phone. And on the last day of school. Well that's when we meet. And when coop died.

But one night before i knew you. Some time during the school year i slept over at a friends house. He had video games on and of course there was flashing lights and gun shots coming from the game. At this point i was half asleep. He just wanted to keep playing. And thats when i had another seizure. I woke up again. In the hospital they explained to me what happened singe i Didn't even remember going to my friends house. The only reason I'm not still in that room again alone with nothing but myself and books was because i met you. I wanted to tell you but addie wouldn't let me. But shes not my mother anymore. Or  at least she wont be after this week. Dad is officially adopting me and taking full custody so Addison cant even contact me anymore."

Beatrice stares at him processing it all, she stares with sorrow, and tears in her eyes

"Al- I'm so sorry that happened" she finally gets out
"Ur not mad?" He asks
"Of course not alex why would i be mad, now i can protect you from this"
"What- no bea please don't do what she did i swear I'm fine i can handle mys-"
"Alex calm down. Im not going to" she puts her arms around him, hugging him tightly

She can feel his tears falling down onto her shoulder but she doesn't care, all she wants is to protect her brother from the world. And now she can do that

"Bea?"
"Yea?"
"I love you"
"Love you too al"
