S2 Chapter 5: It was over

Where is she? Isn't this the HQ Quarters? Why is she here again?

Kasuno looked around....and this time, she saw her father and mother. She began to tremble horribly like a bucket of ice had been thrown over her head.

"Mom! Dad! Get out of here!" She frantically yelled but she was nothing but an illusion. A ghost of the present. She isn't part of this time period. She's simply seeing it unfold.

Then there was a bright light. An explosion. It didn't take too long until the light subsided and the building collapsed. Dead bodies instantly fall around Kasuno and fire began to engulf them.

Her eyes widened in horror when she saw her father desperately crawling on the ground. His head was already crushed and both his legs were decapitated. Yet he...he was crawling towards her mother whose body had been crushed by the wall. Her face was also melting from the intense fire. She was dead in an instant....

"Dad! Stop...stop it...mom is...MOM IS DEAD!" Kasuno wailed, trying to help her father, only for her hands to pass through him. No matter how much she scream, nobody was there to help. Nobody could hear her.

"K-Kana...." Mr. Yamashita coughed blood but he refused to stop. He refused to surrender to death without having to hold his wife's hands.

Only when he held her hand did he finally closed his eyes. His last words were how much he loves her and he was thankful for her coming into his life.

Kasuno sat there in front of her parent's dead bodies, surrounded by hot raging fire. She couldn't cry. No matter how much she wanted to cry, she was too horrified to even move.

S2 Chapter 5: It was over....

When Kasuno opened her eyes, everything was still hazy. She could see her mother and father looking down at her then Sakura and Tsunade with their bombarding questions.

But she couldn't move. It hurts. Her whole body felt like it was on fire yet she couldn't move at all. Forget that....it's her heart. The pain in her chest was so suffocating and unbearable.

Without saying a word, she began to tear up.

"Kasuno!" Mrs. Yamashita leaned forward "What's wrong?!"

Kasuno only closed her eyes, tears falling uncontrollably.

"Kasuno-sensei...."

"Kasuno, are you hurt? Where does it hurt?" Tsunade questioned, concerned.

Kasuno placed a palm on her chest "It hurts right here. Tsunade-sama, please take it away...It hurts...."

She covered her face with her arm and began sobbing "Why me? Why did God gave this burden to me? I'm not strong. I'm weak. I can't take this anymore.....someone, please....I'm so tired...."

"Kasuno—" Mrs. Yamashita tried to held her hand but Kasuno shifted away.

"I just....I just want to rest under the sky now. In a bed full of flowers...but why? This disease is killing me over and over and I just can't...I can't take it anymore..."

She began to cry louder and scream all the agony away, everyone around her also began to tear up.

"Why me....I don't want this! I don't want this anymore!" She sat on the bed, pulling her hair in a crying mess.

She'd seen so many deaths. Even the death of her parents...she'd seen it. Whenever she witness someone dying, a part of her dies too. But how much more does she have to take?
