Chapter 12: Live a life

Hanare walk slowly, looking around the peaceful streets of Konoha. Vendors sells all kinds of foods and souvenirs; Kids run around, playing with each other. Then her eyes landed at the two couples holding each other's hands as they laugh.

Her cheeks immediately turned crimson red as she glance at the guy walking next to her. His hands were in his pocket, eyes straight ahead. Though he wasn't doing anything, Hanare couldn't take her eyes off him.

"What's the matter?" His voice rang on her ears, yet he remained looking ahead.

Hanare shook her head and look down. Up until now, her feelings for him never changes. Perhaps it grew even stronger as she misses him everyday.

Suddenly, she bumped into a very defined chest. She quickly backed away, looking up. Her eyes met Kakashi's. She avoided his gaze, feeling shy but at the same time, also taking cautions. She knew that he was assigned to get informations out of her.

Kakashi turn away, leaning on the railings. They have reached one of Konoha's high point and he could see parts of the village.

Hanare didn't dare to stick close to him no matter how much she wanted to just hug him and never let go.

"You don't have to worry." He sigh "I won't force anything out of you."

"Then why are you with me..." She look up at him.

"I'm asked to spend a day with you." He look back and met her eyes "But I know you're not a spy Hanare. Why are you here?"

She walk towards him but stopped. Her words were stuck on her throat.

"You can tell me." This time, he took steps towards her.

Hanare didn't held it back anymore. She wrap her arms around him and burried her face on his chest "I missed you Kakashi."

Kakashi was taken aback. He stood there, frozen.

It's been years. A lot of things happen and the promised made between thier parents happened only when they were 7....

"Kakashi, I made it this far. It's all because all these years I was holding onto the fact that I'll see you again. I can't die because I still have to see you."

"Hanare..." He tried to pull away from her but she hugged him even tighter. He sigh and placed a hand on her head "What happened? What happened to you?" he questioned her, remembering what Ibiki told him. Hanare's memories seems to be erased....

He felt Hanare's grip on his shirt "A year after you left...the village betrayed my clan. In order to gain the village's trust, my parents gave me up. I was taken away from my family and village. I was turned into a spy. They erased my memories of where I came from and who were my parents. They erased it all so if I was ever captured, they'll get nothing out of me." She started sobbing "For years I did nothing but to train and move from village to village, getting informations. I was working for a country I don't even know. I'm working for my homeland I have no memories of!"

Kakashi pulled back a little, enough to look at her face. He wipe her tears but they were non-stop.

"But Kakashi....even though they erased who I am...my brain refused to forget you. Kakashi, you were my world all this time...and I finally made it here to Konoha! I finally found you!"

Kakashi's arms drop "How would I know that you're telling the truth..."

"Use your sharinggan. Look through me. They've all failed to get anything out of me and I promise you the same result..."

Kasuno's P.O.V

I went out the Hokage's building. Tsunade-sama had looked into my condition once again and told me to pick up the result in 4 days. I was just about to get home when I run into Naruto and Sakura.
