Chapter 16: Love is greedy

Hello readers! First of all, thank you for reading this ugly and pointless story. This chapter probably had the most drafts and edits out of all the chapters I wrote. I realized, this is a Kakashi ff yet he barely have any lines and scene...sorry hehe...but hey! Who loves Kasuno?

Anyways, here comes nothing. I'm not satisfied with this but I still hope it's an ok chapter! Please give me your feedback readers! I'm open for improvements!

"Sensei." Sakura called, running after Kakashi. They'd just see Naruto off with Jiraiya for his training and the copy ninja walked away silently without saying a single word but a goodbye to Naruto.

Kakashi looked back, waiting for Sakura to catch up to him.

"Do you want to grab ramen with me?"

Sakura waited for him to answer her with humor. He would have said something like 'Sakura-Chan don't take interest in me. I prefer older girls' or 'I know I'm way cooler than Sasuke', but he didn't.

"I thought you're seeing the Hokage?" Kakashi stand casually, both hands on his pocket.

Sakura felt her stomach sink. It wasn't just her. Everyone is affected by Sasuke leaving and Kakashi must be taking it harder than anyone. He was the Uchiha's sensei. He was Itachi's too. And he couldn't stop both of them from going rogue.

But she also know something anyone else wouldn't understand. She knows how much her sensei love Kasuno and it seems like it wasn't going well for them both.

She felt pathetic for crying. For begging and making Naruto promise her to bring Sasuke back.

Kakashi wouldn't even shed a tear no matter how much he's having a hard time right now.

She felt so pathetic.

"Sakura-chan?" He called her.

"A million feelings for one person....it's absurd, isn't it sensei?"

"Kasuno! What are you doing?!"

Kasuno jumped when Takeru snatched the knife from her hand. She gave him a confuse glance.

"You shouldn't be here. Mom, can you take Kasuno out of the kitchen?"

For the first time, Kasuno got scared by the thick authority in her brother's voice. With hesitation, Mrs. Yamashita approaches her daughter.

"No." Kasuno sigh "Why are you treating me like I'm disabled? It's just cooking nee-san. And shouldn't you be out in a mission?"

"I'm here to look after you. The Hokage said you can't get hurt. Or else you'll bleed to death." Takeru then pushed her out of the kitchen and sat her in front of the dining table "Wait here. We'll get dinner ready."

Kasuno wanted to resist. She wanted to help at least with housework. She know she can do it. She wanted to speak up...but just like the old her, she sat there, unable to voice her feelings.

"Look how useless you are Kasuno. Tsk Tsk! Do you want to just sit and wait til you die? Poor kid." A manipulative voice appeared in her head.

Kasuno shut her eyes tight. There it is again. Orochimaru's voice inside her head. No matter how much she pretend that it wasn't there, it won't disappear.
