Percy Jackson

Okay, so things were not going that good right now, but they could have definitely been worse. Now we have to go to Rachel and hope that she does not spout another great prophecy; we've had to deal with one of them already, that was the fight against Kronos.

The other great prophecy was announced pretty much immediately after the battle. It was almost as if the fates were mocking us saying, 'You survived this battle demigods? HAS! Hopefully you die in this  one! '

Can't you imagine them, all three of them hunched over our balls of yarn, cooking up new plots for our already miserable and short lives? Cackling together over a nice session of spill the tea. It would probably go like this. (Beware! The Percy Jackson imagination runs wild!)

Lachesis: 'You girls will never believe what I did!

Clothos: 'I bet I have a better story than you, but go on!'

Atropos: 'Yes sister! Go on! '

Lachesis: 'Just a short while after the Poseidon boy's sixteenth birthday, I assigned the great prophecy!'

Atropos: 'The one with the talking donkey and the three ogres?'

Clothos: 'No! Must be the one with the witch and the dragon! '

Lachesis: 'Hahaha noo! The one with the seven demigods! '

Atropos: 'Already sister? Well that'll be some good drama for a while '

Clothos: 'True true. 'Bout time too! They are stopping Merlin and iCarly in a few months. '

Atropos: 'And whose fault is that?'

Clothos: 'Don't blame me! All three of us were drunk that day! '

Lachesis: 'Well you know better than to drink and knit!'

This is probably how all their conversations go. Hopefully, the next Great Prophecy will not start until a few more decades, and we get our fair share of peace and happiness.

Speaking of which I glance at my Annabeth as we make our way to the Cave of the Oracle. She was explaining something to Preston, but I was hardly paying any attention to the words coming out of her mouth. She was the most beautiful and smart person I knew, and I was so very lucky to have her in my life and be able to call her mine.

'Percy Jackson! Did you hear a single word that I just said '

Oops. 'Sorry, not really Annabeth'

'And why is that? You know this is serious. I've never seen Jake so uncomfortable before. '

I slowly move forward, bringing my lips close to her ears and whispered, 'You were looking so beautiful that you kept distracting me Wise Girl'. I didn't miss the light flush in her cheeks and the smile she quickly covered. She hit my chest with her fist, rolled her eyes and turned to Preston.

'Sorry about that. So anyways, what I was saying earlier, was that we are at the cave. Let's go and meet Rachel Dare. The Oracle of Delphi. '

Saying that, she moved the thick velvet curtains that were covering the entrance and entered the cave.

I looked at Preston, 'Come on bro'

Saying that we both entered the cave.

Preston

The cave was nothing I had expected. I thought that maybe it would be dark, dingy and moldy, but it was actually really well lit and so artistic. The wall were covered with paintings which I'm assuming were related to prophecies. There were canvases and easels propped in one side of the cave. Tubes of paint and brushes were piled on a white table next to them.
