Getting a day off from work, I went with Fab to his band rehearsal. They're now working on their second album! It was hard to believe that two years ago these guys were just playing gigs at bars and here they are now playing actual concerts. As I was watching them record, I got a text from Wes.
Wes :): Hey Y/n!
me: Hey what's up?
Wes :): I was wondering if you and Fab wanted to go out with Alyssa and I tonight.
I groaned as I re-read the text and didn't notice Fab hug me from behind.
"What is it babe?" He asked and I lifted my phone up for him to see.
"Why not? Wes is a cool guy." Fab said.
"Yeah, he is. But I don't like Alyssa too much. She just has this je ne sais quoi and everything she does irks me." I sighed.
And I was telling the truth. Whatever feelings or whatever I had for Wesley disappeared after that night with Fab.
"Well do it for Wes then. He really likes her." He said.
"Alright then." I mumbled.
"That's my girl." Fab said kissing my cheek.
"Fab! Get your ass in here, break's over!" Julian yelled and Fab hurried back over there laughing.
After a long day of recording, Fab and I went home to change for our double date. I slid on a pair of black skinny jeans, a Coca-Cola t-shirt, and black and white converses with my leather jacket. We were only going out to eat at Olive Garden and then going to watch a movie.
"So we're that couple now." Fab said laughing.
I looked over at him and saw we were wearing the same thing only he had dark wash jeans on.
"I guess so." I said putting my hair up in a high ponytail.
"You ready?" He asked holding my hand.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I grimaced a bit.
"Be nice babe." He said calmly giving my hand a squeeze.
"I make no promises." I said jokingly and pecked his lips.
As we entered Olive Garden, I quickly found Wes and Alyssa. It wasn't hard to miss her- as much pink as she was wearing. She looked like a freaking Pepto Bismol bottle, I thought laughing to myself.
"Be nice." Fab whispered in my ear as we walked to the table.
Oops, I guess I said that out loud.
"Hey guys." Fab said when we reached the table.
"Hey Fab, hey Y/n." They said in unison and Alyssa giggled.
I rolled my eyes and took a seat beside her plastering the fakest smile on my face.
"Hello." I said politely.
The majority of the time at dinner, I stayed quiet until I was spoken to.
"So Y/n, Wes has told me like a lot about you. You seem like a really nice and cool girl." Alyssa said bringing me back into conversation.
The entire time I've been counting every time she said the word like- 50 freaking times. This just adds on to the list of things I disliked about her.
I plastered on my fake smile and replied: "Wes is too nice."
"Well I like just moved to New York and I don't know many other girls here." She started, "So I was like wondering if you like wanted to go shopping with me this weekend and have a girl's day out."
51, 52, 53
"Um, I-" I started thinking of excuses to get out of it but Fab interrupted.
"That'd be great! Then Wes can hang out with me and the guys." Fab said and I subtly kick him under the table.
"Great! We can like get some color into your wardrobe!" She squealed and I fought the urge to tell her that I don't want to end up looking like her.
"Cool beans." I replied uninterestedly.
After what felt like hours, it was finally time to go to the movie.
The movie was awful, and Alyssa was talking THE ENTIRE TIME. But finally the date was over and Fab and I were back home. The entire time I had given him the silent treatment for making me agree to go shopping with Alyssa.
"Baby, you can't ignore me forever." Fab said pulling me into his lap on the couch.
Being the stubborn woman I am, I looked away from him and kept silent. He just smirked as he brought his hands to my stomach and began tickling me.
"Stop it!" I squealed loudly trying to wiggle out of his lap.
"Yell mercy and I'll stop!" He yelled over my loud laughter.
"MERCY!!" I belted out and he laughed.
I sat up and kissed him.
"Happy?" I asked him.
"Very." He replied kissing me back.
