It's been three months since I've broken up with Fab. At the same time, I haven't talked to any of the guys either. Wes has been very supportive and sweet but I still don't know what we are. He told Alyssa the truth and he's no longer seeing her but I'm still not ready for another relationship, but at the same time I know I need to move on. Besides, Fab did. He is now dating Drew Barrymore. Not attracted to her my ass. There's been pictures in every gossip magazine of them kissing or touching in some way. I've been pretending that I wasn't bothered by their relationship but Wes can see right through it. I was looking at yet another article about Fab and Drew when someone jerked it out of my hands- Wes.

"Y/n, it's been months. He's moved on and it's time for you to as well." He said a bit sternly, which was rare of him.

"But-" I started.

"But nothing. It's time for you to be happy and I want to be the guy that guy that makes you happy." He said sincerely, looking me in the eyes.

"Okay Wes. I'll give us a try." I said softly and he smiled widely, hugging me.

"I promise, I'll never do anything to hurt you." Wes said kissing my cheek and I put on a false smile.

Wes and I have been together now for a year. Of course I wasn't nearly as happy with him as I was with Fab, but that doesn't mean he's a bad boyfriend. He kept his promise and not once did he hurt me. He has been too perfect. No, I don't want to argue or anything but it isn't natural to get along all the time. He's just too sweet to me but I can't bear to break it off with him. I can't lose him forever too.

"Hey love, are you packed?" Wesley asked breaking me from my thoughts.

"Mmhm." I said zipping up my suitcase.

"My family is really excited about meeting you." He said walking over to me, putting his hands on my waist and kissing me.

Oh, how I love his kisses. They aren't as good as Fab's were but-- stop thinking about Fab, girl.

"I'm a little nervous about that actually." I said truthfully.

"Don't worry, they'll love you." Wes said reassuringly.

"I hope so." I said grabbing my bag.

After our extremely long flight, we finally made it to California. His parents were to pick us up from the airport, but meanwhile we were waiting to get our luggage.

"Wesley!" A female's voice called.

Wes was soon tackle hugged by a red-headed girl.

"Jordan! I haven't seen you in forever!" He said hugging her tight as I awkwardly stood back to let them catch up.

Soon after Jordan came over, a dark haired couple and a guy a bit older than me followed behind them.

"Hello son." The man said patting Wesley on the back.

"Hey dad. Hey mom." He said hugging his mother that was crying she was so happy to see him.

"What? No love for your own brother?" The brunette guy asked.

"Sorry Avan." Wes said trying to hug his brother but Avan had him in a headlock and ruffled his hair.

All the while I was in the background feeling awkward as hell.

"Guys, this is my girlfriend Y/n. Y/n, this is my mom, dad, brother Avan and my best friend Jordan." Wes said introducing me.

I couldn't help but notice how Jordan and his mother's smiles both dropped as soon as he said I was his girlfriend.

"Nice to meet y'all." I said politely and Avan smiled as he checked me out.

"You did good."Avan winked at Wes and Wes blushed punching his older brother as I laughed lightly.

There was an awkward silence as we walked out to their car. All the while Jordan kept giving me side glances and Mrs. Coxon looked disappointed about something.

"So Wes here tells me you're a Chargers fan." Mr. Coxon said breaking the silence as we got into the car.

"Yes sir. Ever since I was little." I said proudly.

"Wes, you did do good." He said with a wide smile and I grinned as Wes held my hand and squeezed it.

"So Y/n, what is it that you do? You know, for a job?" Mrs. Coxon said talking to me for the first time.

"I'm a French translator for L'Oreal." I said.

"Oh. Jordan here is a model." Mrs. Coxon said.

"That's cool." I said politely but couldn't help but feel a little self conscious about myself now.

I frowned slightly as I also noticed Jordan smirk at Mrs. Coxon's behavior. The rest of the drive Jordan talked to Wesley the entire time, leaving me to sit in silence. After what felt like years, we finally arrived at the house. It was beautiful and so expensive looking. Never in a million years would I think Wes had money.

"Your house looks so beautiful." I said.

"Well it should. It sure cost enough." Mrs. Coxon said shortly.

As we got out of the car, Avan got my bags out for me.

"Thanks."

"It's all good! So I'm assuming that you and Wes will be sharing a room?" He asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"Absolutely not. She will be in the guest room. As she is our guest." Mrs. Coxon said rudely.

"But mom-" Wes said.

"But nothing. She's in the guest room and that's final." Mrs. Coxon said coolly and Wes frowned.

"Wes, it's fine. I understand." I said masking my disappointment and he nodded frowning.

Well isn't this going to be a fun week.
