In a Rush

She dropped the note from her hand, which was formerly on her desk, and immediately snatched off the window lock, pulling it up, to which she drew a circle that formed an abomination that caught her once she jumped off.

"Meet me at our Grom Tree, yeah?"

                                            "-Luz"

She forced open the fence and ran over to the school, pushing past through the many people that were in her way, ignoring the many calls she got from her siblings, ignoring how her legs were giving out, ignoring how she was losing her breath.

It didn't matter.

She needed to get to Luz.

She tripped over her own shoe, making her fall to the floor.

She was tired.

She needed rest.

She needed to stop running.

Wiping the dirt off her cheek, she ignored the many shrieks of pain her body gave her and stood back up, stumbling, but running over to the Grom Tree.

She finally made it to their tree, and slowed down upon meeting it.

Upon looking around, no one was there.

No soul,

No person,

No human.

No one was there.

She punched the tree's trunk out of anger, she had been set up after all.

She let the tears fall out, she let her legs rest, she let herself catch her breath.

A stupid invitation was all it was, a stupid prank was all it was, a stupid joke that was played upon her, and she fell right into it.

She may not be too in-touch with her feelings, but even when she knew she was being played, it hurt.

A lot.

She could feel the small bit of mud and dirt on her face, the tears that were rolled onto her cheeks, the sticks that probably gathered up in her air.

She turned around and saw her. With a bouquet in her hand.

"Hey. I like you." She scratched the back of her head.

The tears fell down even more.

"You freaking jerk..." She walked over to her and embraced her, first softly hitting the girl's chest with her fist, letting her anger out. But she then wrapped her arms arms around her, letting the girl wrap her arms around her aswell.

"Sorry for being late." Her now-long brown hair flowed with the wind, the colors now picturing up.

Her red beanie was gone, but her outfit was still present.

A purple and white striped shirt that was still covered over with her green trench coat, her dark jeans and her new black converse were still a little dirty.

"Shut up..." Her long green and brown hair flowed with hers, her pink and white shirt were accompanied by her also pink skirt.

"Never scare me like that again..."

"I said I was sorry."

"Shut up and let me hug you."

"Okay."
