Boiling Rain Kinda Hurts

Luz laughed along with Amity walking along right beside her, the two just so giddy and happy about their day. The two had just finished their Azura Book Club meeting, and unfortunately, due to it being so late already, they needed to get home. And quick.

With them both gushing about the latest chapter of course.

"Seriously though, I can't believe all that drama with Soleada and Azura happened! Like, who would've thought the two had dated?!" Luz ranted with a smile, and she turned to Amity to see a sparkle in her eyes and an eager look to talk and let out whatever her words were like a flash flood comin' in hot.

"Totally predicted that sequence. I mean, they acted all awkward around each other and even were both predicting and familiarizing with actions that other people hadn't known. There had to be some chemistry that either had happened or is happening that made them both know what the other would do, and know certain things that others wouldn't." Amity pointed out, slicing her hand through the air.

"Totally ship her with Azura."

"What?!" Luz looked at her with some betrayed and shocked expression, not believing the words that were coming out of Amity's pretty mouth. "You ship Soleada with Azura?! I mean, sure, I get it. They had some chemistry goin' on and are acting all nervy wervy around each other now which may point to a conflict later on, BUT WHAT ABOUT HECATE?!"

"What about Hecate?" Amity crossed her arms and laughed a bit.

"Hecate and Azura! Both of them are obviously wanting more time with each other, and Hecate just seemed so uncomfortable and shocked when she got the news about Azura and Soleada's past relationship, she has to be crushing on Azura!"

"And?"

"And?! AND?! That ship has gotta sail! There's so much that they've been through together and Hecate was just so lonely before Azura popped up and saved her. I'm sure anyone that was saved by someone as down-to-earth as Azura would immediately fall in love! And I mean, what would their ship name even be?!" She looked ahead for answers, the two almost reaching the exit of the library.

"Soleazura? Azureada?"

"What, and you think Azurate or Hecazura is better?" Amity scoffed, and after hearing a small noise leave Luz as she pouted, a small laugh escaped Amity, infectious enough to make a smile creep up on Luz's face and a laugh to break through aswell.

"Look girl, just tell me your biz with you not liking my Azurate shipping station. You can move along to the next one, just gotta tell me why you think it's so bad of a ship. I mean, look at them! Azura's so dorky and clumsy, and Hecate is so composed and slick! It's like a match made in heaven!" Luz turned around and walked backwards as she let her crossed arms go over behind her head.

"Hecate was so rude to Azura before, that ship would never work." Amity saw Luz stop in her peripheral vision as she placed her hand on the door, pushing ever so slightly, until the voice beside Amity spoke.

"Or maybe since Azura is such a considerate person, she will take those feelings into account and see if she even feels anything for Hecate. No matter if she was rude to her." Amity turned to her side to see Luz with that fierce and determined look in her eyes.
