An hour goes by, Sabre is the first to wake up. He goes to check on everybody to make sure they had a good rest. First, he woke you Chy she was happy to see his face. She hugged him the moment she saw him.
"Can you go wait in the waiting room?" Sabre asked her.
"Sure," Chy said "I'll meet you there."
"Alright," Sabre said "goodbye."
"Don't say that," Chy said shaking her head "I hate goodbyes."
Sabre walked back over to her and kissed her cheek. Next, he was going to check on Junior and Frost. He walks into the room they had claimed to sleep in, Junior was passed out in the corner but Frost was wide awake twirling a knife in his hands.
"Couldn't sleep?" Sabre asked.
"Yep," Frost said.
"You still don't trust him do you?" Sabre whispered.
"Not one bit," Frost whispered in return.
"Well," Sabre said "could you wake him up? We need to get moving as soon as possible."
Frost stoped twirling his knife and stared at Sabre. Sabre hadn't seen what Frost had looked like until now. His name suited him, he had very blonde hair and was a pale person. It looked like he had seen a lot of years of service.
"Sure," Frost said "I've lived a full life."
Frost then nudged Junior. "Hey, get up."
Junior stirred a little bit before finally waking up. It took him a minute to fully wake up.
"I'm gonna go get the rest of them up," Sabre said "you guys head to the waiting room."
"Alright," Junior said.
Sabre walked out of the room, and was making his way to Doc and Noob. He had no clue which one there's so he just guessed. He walked into a room at random. There they were past out back to back in the center of the room, propped up against each other. He chuckled a little bit.
"Hey," Sabre said walking closer.
Neither of them moved. So Sabre took drastic measures. He kicked Noob knocking him to the ground.
"Wake up buttercup," he said after he kicked Noob.
"Oh god," Doc said falling backwards. "Really? I was reading something."
"Sorry, Doc," Sabre said helping them up. "You guys didn't answer so I took matters into my own hands."
"Or boot," Noob said "that hurt like hell."
"Sorry," Sabre said dusting Noob off. "So where's Tucker and Clementine?"
"Room 117," Doc said.
"Thanks," Sabre said leaving "meet us in the waiting room when you guys are ready."
"Roger that," they both said.
Sabre walked out into the hall, looking for Tucker and Clementine. Then he finally found their room, Room 117. He walked in looking for them, it didn't take long. They were laying in a bed, Tucker had his arm around Clementine. She was snuggled up next to him, Tucker had his silenced pistol in his free hand ready to shoot. Sabre saw them both laying there, they looked great together. Clementine had her helmet off, it seemed like he was seeing everyone for the first time. She didn't have that long of hair, it was fairly short. She looked very young, he didn't know how old she was, but he could guess she was about as old as Tucker. He didn't want to disturb them, but he had to.
"Hey," he whispered nudging Tucker.
Thomas appeared on Tucker's data pad.
"Shhh," Thomas said "allow me, I can wake him up slowly and gradually."
"Thanks, Thomas," Sabre said "tell them to meet everyone in the waiting room, when they're ready."
"Alright," Thomas said "I'll pass on that message."
"Thank you," Sabre said leaving the room.
Tucker woke up a couple seconds after Sabre leaves the room.
"Thomas how long were we asleep?" Tucker whispered.
"57 minutes," Thomas said "and 38 seconds."
"So an hour?" Tucker asked.
"Pretty much," Thomas said shrugging.
"Thanks," Tucker said.
"And Sabre said you guys should go to the waiting room when you two are ready," Thomas said.
"Alright," Tucker said "I suppose I should wake her up."
Tucker nudged Clementine a little, trying to wake her. She finally woke up, she looked up at him and smiled.
"Time to get up?" She said staring up at him.
"Yeah," he said sitting forward.
"Where do they want us to go?" She asked.
"Waiting room," Tucker said "I just wanna stay here with you though."
"Aw," Clementine said blushing "I wanna be here with you too."
Tucker hugged her and then stood up. "I guess we should go," he said handing her a helmet.
"Yeah, I guess so," she said putting on the helmet. "How do I look?"
"You look amazing," he said "I promise I won't let anything hurt you."
Seconds after he said those words, a Covenant plasma fire hit the hospital. The fire was coming from above. Tucker and Clementine rushed into the waiting room, they found the entire team standing watching the doors.
"What was that?" Clementine asked.
"Covenant Phantom," Junior said.
"Sounds like it's right above us," Noob said.
"Should we wait?" Doc asked "or should we make a run for it?"
"I don't know," Tucker'said "your call Sabre."
Sabre stayed silent for a minute, but then finally spoke up.
"Get ready to move," Sabre said.
