"Whoa," Frost yelled rushing toward Tucker.
Tucker got up slowly, an emergency siren was coming from his helmet.
"You alright?" Frost asked stretching out his hand to help him up.
"Yeah," Tucker said taking his hand "I'm good. Just knocked off my shields."
"That's great," Frost said "it'd be a shame to get all this way, just to lose you."
"Trust me," Tucker said "I'm not going down without a fight. Especially not to a grenade."
"Um," Noob said through the radio "we have a serious problem."
"What is it?" Tucker responded.
"We got a chieftain," Noob said nervously "and he's coming in fast."
"Roger that," Tucker said "just make sure that he doesn't get close to the building. But most of all, don't let him inside."
Noob's light winked green, but something wasn't right the lights of one of the Spartan's was yellow. Tucker didn't like it, so he was determined to find out what was wrong.
"All Spartans check in," Tucker said into a COM channel.
"Ashley- 754 ," she said in return "checking in."
"Calvin- 392," he said next "checking in."
There wasn't another voice.
"Where's Anna?" Tucker said in a worried tone.
The other two didn't say anything, it was silent.
"S-sir," Ashley said with hesitation.
"She didn't make it, sir," Calvin said "she got shot by a drone, the plasma bolt melted right through her armor. I'm sorry sir."
Tucker didn't say anything for a minute, he just stood there shocked.
"Sir?" Thomas asked.
"Yeah," Tucker said snapping out of his trance.
"I'm sorry for your lose sir." Thomas said "I've updated the team roaster, and something seems off."
"What is it?" Tucker asked.
"There's another spot," Thomas in a confused tone "it says it's filled, but I've taken into account everyone, even Anna. Nothing fits."
"Just ignore it." Tucker said "pay attention to my suits status, and my vitals."
"Yes sir." Thomas said followed by a pause "everything looks normal."
"Thanks," Tucker said.
"CHIEFTAIN," Frost yelled.
Tucker turned and was face-to-face with the beast.
"Demon," it said as swung it's hammer.
Tucker dodged just in time, he twisted the hammer in the brute's hands. He had a death grip on it. This was dangerous, within melee distance of an animal that could rip him to shreds if he wasn't careful. The beast lifted the hammer again, this time Tucker had different intentions. He swung the hammer, Tucker grabbed it out of the air and drew his energy sword. He cut the hammer clean in half and threw the top half at the cheiftain's head, it stuck right in it's head. The brute wasn't affected by it, instead it charged at him, tackling Tucker to the ground. A rifle cracked and a sniper round went right clean through the brute's head.
"Thanks Noob," Tucker said as he lifted the chieftain off of himself.
"I didn't do anything," Noob said "all my rounds are here."
