"Get ready," Tucker said "hell just opened up."
"We already dropped feet first into hell," Sabre said walking up to Tucker "welcome back."
"You really thought I was gonna leave you guys?" Tucker said "to fight off the entire Covenant army alone, and take all the glory. Nah, I want a piece of it."
"Alright," Sabre said with a shrug "any ideas?"
"Thought we'd try shooting our way out," Tucker said pulling out a pistol "mix things up a little."
"Sounds like a plan, sir," another Spartan said.
"If I may suggest something," Rose said.
"Go ahead, kid," the fourth Spartan said.
"Get those jackhammers ready," Rose said "use them to kill the grunts, we'll focus fire on the jackals, you guys get the brutes, and anything else is free game."
All the Spartans looked at each other. Then one of them finally spoke up.
"That's a damn fine plan," a female Spartan said.
"I'm gonna change it slightly" Tucker said "fall back into that building, and get those rockets on the roof. Noob you get up there too, provide recon and give them the signal to fire, I'm trusting your instincts on this one. Doc, you and Rose get to the back room, you guard her what ever the cost. We'll tell you if anyone needs medical attention. Sabre, Chy, Clementine, Logan and Junior you're all on front door duty, shoot anything that comes near the door. The rest of us will be out in no-mans land, we'll take the brutes on before they can reach you guys. Any questions?"
They all were silent, the Covenant were closing in fast.
"What about me?" Frost asked.
"You heard me," Tucker said "the rest of us are out here fighting."
Frost stood straighter and yelled "Sir, yes sir!"
"Sir," a Spartan said "we've got an incoming transmission."
"Patch it through," Tucker said "put it in the team radio."
"Aye sir," the Spartan said.
"Spartans," a female voice said "we need you to hold out as long as possible, we will try and get you some evac ASAP. Just keep those kids safe, and we'll take care of the rest."
"Yes mam'a," Tucker said looking at the group "we'll protect them. Spartan 609 out."
The voices were replaced with static. They Chy finally spoke up.
"Who was that?" she said.
"Our boss," Tucker said.
"Sir," a Spartan with a jackhammer said walking towards Tucker "we should get moving." The Spartan had a number on it's chest plate, it said 135. The rest of the Spartans' numbers were worn, and barely legible, but they could still make it out. The Spartan with the other jackhammer was 392, and the one that was just standing there, that had the figure of a girl was number 754.
"You're right," Tucker said nodding and looking towards the girl Spartan. "Ashley, take them to the building and make sure they get inside safely."
"Yes, sir," she said "follow me guys."
They all followed Ashley, or Spartan 754, all except Frost. He stayed out there with the Tucker, Logan went with the group just to make sure Rose stayed put.
"Hey," Tucker said in the radio "once you guys fire those rockets, come out here and help us. Just don't waste those at the same time so you can join the fun."
