I was sitting on the couch, looking through pictures on my phone when Greg asked, "do you want to watch a movie? I'll make popcorn" from the kitchen. "Sure" I responded, getting up from the couch and going over to the dvd shelf. "How about 'Dazed and Confused'?" I yelled at him and I heard him laugh, "really? That's a random choice. I replied, "true, but it's an uplifting movie. Fine, how about Avengers?" He came into the living room still chuckling and with a bowl of popcorn in hand. "Well that's a dramatic jump" he said, sitting down. I laughed too, putting the dvd in and sitting beside him. As the movie started I remembered the first time I saw this movie.  We were in grade 5 and my aunt took Greg, Grizz, Helena, Luke, Kelly, and I to see it in theaters. It was one of my favorite movies because every time on of the Chitauri soldiers yelled, I would jump and hide my face in Grizz's arm. He would chuckle and lean over telling when it was okay to look again. My stomach would always get butterflies, but I didn't know at the time what that meant. I smiled at the memory and then I felt a sadness befall over me. As the credits came, Greg was yawned and told me he was tired, so he went to bed. I stayed up to watch another movie because I knew I wasn't going to sleep until I knew Grizz was okay.

My thoughts kept drifting to Grizz, but I tried to immerse myself into the movie. Worrying about Grizz wasn't going to help anyone, and it certainly wasn't going to ensure that he gets back safe. I finally went upstairs and started to read in bed, but after 10 minutes of re-reading the same page, I gave up. So I decided to have a shower, then 30 minutes after I got out of the shower my phone dinged. While reading the text, I received another text. The first text was from the group message that was asking everyone to meet at the church and the second was from Grizz. He asked me to meet him at the church asap. I texted Grizz back and asked if he was okay, except he didn't respond. I quickly got dressed in sweatpants, a t-shirt, and a sweater. I rushed into Greg's room to find him fast asleep, and I felt bad that I had to wake him up. I shook him rapidly and whispered, "Greg. Wake up. Greg!" He groggily mumbled, "no, 5 more minutes." I quietly chuckled and continued to shake him. "No, Greg. You gotta get up now" I said, making him jump up at attention. "What? What's wrong?" he questioned, looking startled. I laughed while reassuring him that nothing was wrong. I told him that we needed to go to the church and to get dressed.

As we drove to the church, I noticed the time and I couldn't believe that it was 2am. "It's been 12 hours? Do you think they found something or what if they didn't? What if someone got hurt?" I thought out loud and I glanced at Greg when he spoke, "don't worry just yet. Let's just wait to find out what's going on. Then we'll talk about it." He looked at me, putting his hand on my leg and giving me a comforting squeeze, then he looked away.
