Before I knew it, someone bigger than me slung his arm over one of my shoulders and I could feel his face against my neck. I shivered, and jumped away from the person that was behind me. It was one of the football players that I didn't really know too well. I think his name's Nick. "Hey beautiful! What's a lovely girl like you doing all alone over here?" he hummed as he climbed over the pew to sit in front of me with a smile. He tried to pull me into his lap and I swatted his hands away. "Get you hands off of me, yo-" I said raising my voice but he cut me off by saying "come on baby. Just relax." He placed his hands firmly on my hips and I tried to fight him off but I wasn't strong enough because he had used a lot more force. I tripped on my backpack when I took a step away which caused me to collapse onto his lap and he laughed against my neck. I felt myself start to panic and my breathing became heavy. Then Nick kissed me and I couldn't breathe. He stole my first kiss and it was definitely not how I wanted it to go or who I wanted it to be with. I pushed against his chest with as much force as I could while yelling "LET GO OF ME!" A few people looked at me but they all just watched. I couldn't breathe and I continued to push against him. I didn't budge from our position until I did something I've never done before.

I punched him square in the jaw. He was shocked and his hands loosened from my waist. I fell off his lap and onto the floor. I started coughing and tried to crawl away, but he grabbed my legs and held them down. He crawled on top of me until he was straddling my waist. I started kicking as my eyes became blurry. I yelled for Greg but he never came. Nick smiled down at me and I tried to grab my backpack but he pinned my hands down above my head. I could barely breathe and I chocked out in a whisper "I can't breathe, please Nick stop." He leaned down so that our faces were just inches from each others and I was overwhelmed with the smell of alcohol. His voice spoke menacingly "aw don't worry baby. I'll be gentle. Besides what I hear in the locker room it won't be your first-" He was cut off by someone kicking him off of me. Whoever saved me also helped me off the floor and pushed me behind him. Someone behind me put both hands on my shoulders and I flinched while looking up to see Luke's face. He gripped me a little tighter and had an angry expression. I looked forward to see the backside of my savior. He  had a small man bun on top of his head and I knew exactly who it was, Grizz. Grizz was fighting Nick and it felt like all my senses had faded away. I couldn't hear any voices that were around me and the music was muffled. I whispered and I didn't think Luke could hear me. "Luke stop him. Please he needs to stop befo-" Luke cut me off by whispering in my ear through gritted teeth "no! Nick deserves this." I shook my head and I felt Luke wrap his arms around me. He hugged me from behind and all I wanted was to get out of there. I quickly pushed myself forward out of Luke's arms and grabbed my backpack. I ran out of the church and onto the Green.

My breathing was labored, but I kept running across the Green. I made my way to the gazebo and I collapsed to my hands and knees on the wooden floor. I crawled over to a pillar and sat down to lean my back onto it. I pulled my backpack onto my lap and I fumbled to pull out one of my inhalers. I rapidly shook the inhaler and puffed in the air. I held my breath, let the air out, and repeated the actions again. I struggled to take deep breaths and I felt the pressure in my lings subside. After two minutes my breathing started to become normal, then I saw two figures rush out of the church. They were yelling my name and I could barely hear them over the music that was coming from the church. Then one of them noticed me and Grizz's voiced yelled over the Green. "CLEO!" I stumbled to my feet and I quickly started walking away. "CLEO!" Grizz yelled again, but I didn't stop walking.
