Once we got to the Green, we saw this it was full with the students we were with not even an hour ago. We were standing near the edge of the group when I heard Grizz's voice yell over the group from behind us. "Hey, so who a decided we needed a flash mob?" I turned to look at him and h had his hands in the pockets of his letter man jacket. Clark was walking beside him. I turned towards a female voice that I think was Cassandra, but I couldn't see her because I was so short and the crowd towered over me. "I did" she said and Grizz spoke again, but this time he was beside me. "What the fuck Cassandra?" His voice had a bit of annoyance in his tone. "Better than 200 people sending texts" she stated and continued her rant. I never really had any feelings toward the older Pressman daughter. She's never been mean to me, and she once spoke up when someone called me an awful name-but that's a story for another time. Cassandra's voice brought me out of my thoughts. "Has anyone been able to to reach anyone?" she asked no one in particular and the crowd either said no, or shook their heads like me. "No one?" she asked deep in thought and a few people said no again. "Ok" she sighed and was obviously trying to come up with an answer to what's going on. "Well ther-there's definitely a simple explanation" she sputtered, clearly unsure of herself and I felt my heart starting to race. Cassandra was always confident and self aware, so it was weird seeing her this way. "What?" Clark asked from beside Grizz. I glance in his direction and my eyes caught Grizz's face. He was staring intently on where Cassandra was and his eyes flickered over to me, then away just as quickly. He was obviously trying to avoid eye contact with me and was maybe just trying to ignore that I was even there.
"Uhm they were evacuated after we left, and there was a miscommunication and we were brought back here by mistake" Cassandra's tone was still unsure, but at least she was trying. "Someone would still answer a phone" Kelly stated from somewhere near the front. "Maybe they're asleep. I don't know...maybe they're somewhere with no reception. In a shelter with no reception or something" Cassandra responded and a few people sighed. I could feel eyes on me and out of the corner of my eye I saw Greg staring at me. "In the morning someone will answer a phone-" Cassandra started, but was cut off by the familiar voice of a girl named Elle, who dances at the same studio as me. "Maybe it's not safe for us to be here if they all left." A few people started to mumble over each other and Cassandra yelled over the growing cacophony. "A couple of hours isn't going to make a difference. We'll figure this all out in the morning. Right no just go home. Yeah, we should go home and anyone that doesn't want to be alone can come back to our house. If you want," I guess Cassandra gave her sister, Allie, a questioning look and Allie presumably nodded. Then Harry spoke up, obviously trying to start an argument with Cassandra. "Is that your advice Cassandra?" Even though I couldn't see him, I could tell he had a smug look on his face by the tone of his voice. I let out a sigh and muttered "what an ass!" under my breath. Grizz chuckled beside me and my eyes shot to his smirking face. I shook my head at his expression with smile and I felt my heart flutter at seeing him smile like that. I haven't seen that look in almost a year and it was my favorite expression of his. "Yeah yeah yeah Harry, yeah. Just go to sleep" Cassandra said in a tired tone and trying to avoid an argument.
A few people wandered off and Greg leaned over to me. "Do you want to go home?" Greg asked, and I shrugged as I responded "what else are we gonna do?" I sighed as I looked into his eyes and saw a mischievous gleam in them which made me laugh. "We could stay and hang out, maybe there will be a party" he said, and I continued to laugh until I saw his serious expression. "Because we are party animals and it would be so much fun to watch everyone get drunk and have fun. Then once everyone but me is drunk. I'll just sit back and enjoy the assery" I said with as much sarcasm as I could muster. I heard someone behind me chuckling and I turned around to look at them. It was Grizz and Clark, who were clearly listening to us. "I'm so glad I amuse you two" I spoke as a smirk appeared on my face. "A bit, or you two could just go hide at home so no one has to be around your bitch presence" Clark said between chuckles. My smirk disappeared and Grizz looked at his friend with a glare. "Shut up, Clark" Grizz said sternly. Clark shrugged and then wandered off toward Jason and Luke.
