I sit silently feeling slightly nervous as I scan around the white walls of this small interrogation room. I turn my gaze ahead at the dark tinted glass window that showed my reflection but I know on the other side are people watching my every move and will be hearing everything I'm saying.




After the police that had surrounded my house asking to take me to the police station, Jimin didn't want me to go but I willingly oblige knowing I'm innocent.




Finally the door opens to a middle age police officer and sits across me. "I know you have already been told your rights and you have agreed to be questioned but I will repeat it again." He clasps his hands together as his eyes bores onto mine. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. But if you decide to answer questions now without an attorney present, you have the right to stop answering at any time."




I nod my head, feeling a little intimidated all of a sudden. He has a strong presence and authority towards him. "Ms. Kim, what was your relationship like with Mr. Jeon Junsu?" He asks with his raspy voice.




"He was like a father to me," I answer with no hesitation.




"Did you have any resentment towards him?" He asks piercing into my eyes as if he's trying to find the answers in them.




"No."




"But your fiancé Park Jimin, turned out to be the son of Jeon Junsu. From what we know, Mr. Park has many reasons to kill his own father, but there's no evidence on him." He pauses and his eyes intensely glares into mine as if he wants me to say I've killed him. "Where were you on the night Jeon Junsu was murdered?"




"I..." I pause trying to recollect myself from his harsh stare. "I was home."




"You were home?" He repeats what I said, but doesn't seem to believe it.




"Yes, that's right."




"Do you have an alibi to support your claim?" He asks.




"Yes, the maids have seen me." At-least I think I'm sure they did. "I stayed in my room that night. I was spending the day with my friend Yoona. After that I went to my room and slept."




"Can your friend Yoona confirm to your claims that you were with her?"




"Yes," I answer him. "I'll give you her number."




"But," he suddenly says. "You said you went to bed after spending the time with your friend, what time was that exactly?"




I couldn't remember and suddenly I feel an intense nervousness, not knowing what to say now.
